My best effort...
Well this is Pub section.
This is me in Poland in August 2007. This is the 2nd 1 litre beer I had in about 20 minutes. The yanks I was with didn't believe I could do it. They saw me do one in 2 goes (hey, it was hot and I was thirsty) so when I suggested I might be able to do a full 1 litre in one go, they bought it for me and the challenge was set.... I actually even surprised myself. Less than 10 seconds!
Mmmmm beer!

No not overly...
When I got back to Berlin and went and had a night at a beer hall, they have 1.1 litre steins and by that point everyone on the tour had seen or heard about my Polish effort. So they wanted to see a repeat performance....
The beer was a lot gassier and thicker and stronger. I think that one was just on 10 or 11 seconds but about the 2/3 mark I was hurtin. Almost stopped but split second thinking told me regardless of the pain, I had to do it!

Poland is wicked, I love my country of birth.Go back once a year to see my family who live in Bydgoszcz, North West of Warszawa.
Munich beer hall also has 1 litre steins, Yanks are always surprised with aussie ability to neck big beers.
