Time for an upgrade.
Ok, i'm thinking it's time to move on the berlina and go back to the V8 but i'm torn about what to get.I'm really happy with the vy and the berlina model and i was thinking of looking for something similar with the ls1 in it but then i'm thinking about going one step further and buying an ss.My dilemma is that i would be paying an extra $5000 for the ss over the berlina and i'm just wondering if it's worth it.
What do you guys think?

i think youd actually loose features... SS are execs with more engines suspensions and brakes yeah?
Go up, get a VY V8 Calais... more luxuries and more power... done!
I really dont see the attraction to SS's... senators, statos yeah but SS's really dont do it for me in the slightest.
aZk.

depends on what you want if you want basic v8 you could go sv8, but if you want ss for the name with want climate control yes you would be paying a premium (as it wasnt standard on vy) over say a v8 berlina or calais

Like the others said...go for a V8 Calais...pretty much exactly the same under the bonnet, but you won't lose any of the Berlina's luxury extras.

Berlina, it's immaculate inside, just a few slight marks on the outside, nothing serious.

VY II Calais V8 is one of my favourite cars made..
It mixes Sports with luxury, But it's FE1.5 is arguably a better handling package then the SS.
