Apparently this car has just cost $95k and the owner crashed it on its way home after picking it up!!!!! OUCH!!!!
I know a lot of you will say it is a POS anyway cos it has the evil oval blue badge on it....
But personally i reckon it is a shame cos IMHO most cars from tha era that sported the true aussie muscle car image are all sweet rides regardless.
Doesnt say if he was being a tool at the wheel or not...... or weather it was a mechanical failure, but from the damage sustained i would say he definetly was not doing 50kph in a built up area!!!
Hopefully it will be repairable!
If it was from his stupidity i say.... HAR HAR ! U tool!
Glad no inoccent bystanders were hurt.![]()
I dont think anyone here will call it a POS, any car enthusiast can respect and enjoy what a lovely car it was/is.
Man that has got to hurt
I really do have a soft spot for the old gt's
I think it will get fixed sinse he has allready spent a fortune on it but it looks to have a horrible twist in the front
might need to book some hours in on the flat rack
what a wanker, just ****ed a perfectly good car
I think i can safely say that it will need a reshell, just look how far the motor is set back.
man, see the wedding ribbons on the car. Hope it was only him in it, not the bridal party...
Wanted: Honest woman
As if that's a POS. It would bloody FLAME the majority of the commodores on this forum.
It's a damn shame it had to end like that.

thats right cobez it is a shame just like my mates xb coupe that got flattened like that au in nsw.
it was under a carport waiting for a paintjob (all the prep had been done) and the block next door had a 2 storey house being built.
the brickies layed a wall of bricks on the second floor and the thing fell onto the carport which then collapsed on to the coupe.
the really bad thing is that if they had told my mate about it he would have moved the car into the panel shop right next door and the whole thing would have been avoided.
ill get some pics up tomorrow
Got that via email a while ago now...
It's actually a restore job FROM that accident - not a restore then a prang. Note in the accident there is no rear spoiler and a GT badge on the grill and post rebuild there is a spoiler and no GT grill badge.
What a waste of a car!If you can't handle a classic, stay the feck out of the drivers seat! Another classic gone :'(

I am a car lover especially the vintage era and to see two cars like that written off is a damn shame.
