When i bought my onetonner 3years ago i became aware how crap my previous mechanic really was!After a heap of searching i was finally recommended Derek Hocking at HRS.I have been taking the beast their now for just under 3years and i am amazed at how reliable and powerful a little 308 can be!I wont let anyone else near my motor now.Derek is also the most genuine,honest and skillfull mechanic you will find.Thanks HOCKO,keep up the good work!

Considering he was operating without a license, got arrested, has had numerous downpayments placed on work from many different owners, all to be told they pretty much won't be getting it back.

Yeah, he's got great service. I didn't know he was back in business, I thought the business went into receivership. Micks, Sam's and Marrano's performance are much better legitimate and trustworthy options.

You might want to check out the Ls1 forums, there is a big thread on this Hocking dude. People getting ripped off on parts, money ( $50,000) and all sorts of other stuff. Sounds like a genuine bloke to me.
