Gday guys
I'm 19, structural landscaping subbie and I have only been doing it for 6 months. I'm after a loan to get a ute (after a 90's Hilux 4x4) as I want a 4by for weekend fun, as well as a diesel for towing gear around at work... Aswell as a tax write off.
I've rang up the bank on my only day off in the last 5 months and they said I can't get a personal loan as I haven't been "self employed" for the last 2 years so I'd have to get a business equipment loan. But they said the ute i'm after is too old and I'd have no chance of getting a 2003-2004 ute for $10,000
How do I get a business loan, but not let them know it's for an older ute?

i was under the impression that the car could be no more then 3 yers old at the time of the lease and the term could still be 5 years. or that was the case with one of my work mates.
At the end of the lease it cannot be more than eight years old. Leasing it would be a lot better idea.
