hi was just wondering if anyone has done a traineeship (certificate II), as an automotive spray painter, is it worth it, is it anywhere near as good as doing an apprenticeship, for employment in crash shops if that makes sense, what i mean is will a cert II allow you a reasonable qualification to get work as a spray painter in most crash shops.

to be fully qualified you looking at 4 years as a apprentice
2 of those years is theory (tafe books)

i thought the certificate II is a one years traineeship that you must work at a crash shop to do, and it gives you qualifications to be a crash shop assistant or whatever
