ok got this old game for my sister now ive downloaded it and extracted it and its come out as an .img how do i run it do i need 2 create a batch file etc i have no idea any help appreciated cheers-----this is what i need 2 do have no clue how 2 do it want 2 run it in C: which i have changed already on the code below
Installation
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
No actual installation, just for Saved Games, similar to Creature
Crunch. I think there is a Setup or Installation EXE file. To make
a folder for the game.
If you're new to it like I am then you can use a similar Batch file:
: batch file
multires.exe /640,480,32
C:\DRBRAIN3.EXE
multires.exe /restore
Of course, change the Drive where the EXE is to fit your system.

use wordpad and save it as a .bat instead of .txt?
1995 Manual HSV Clubsport
Wade Cam :: 9.2:1 CR :: Pacemaker headers :: Twin 2.5" Exhaust :: VT Brakes
1991 Supercharged VN Berlina
9 PSI SC14 Intercooled :: Genie headers :: Twin cats :: HM Twin 2.25 exhaust :: 3.45:1 LSD
also, an .img file is an image file. mount it as a virtual drive using nero imagedrive, or download daemon tools

if it is an old dos game and the file is a .img file, this is usually an image of a floppy disk.
Similar to a .ISO file of a CD / DVD
try IMG file reader - MagicISO
and then extract the files to your hard disk or floppy / CD.
If it is a dos game and you are running XP the chances of getting the game to run are very slim.
I have a whole CD full of old dos games which don't work anymore. Even if I put MS Dos back on
the computer they still won't run because of the speed of the computers these days.
The old games were never programmed to run at speeds of today.
