my mates VR has done 215km/h and its only an old buick V6. they do go that fast.
It was probably a Holden Gemini. That is how dodgy the cops are.
Police do have limits on how fast they are allowed to do. Its about 140-160 for a paddy wagon and all others 160-180km/h. That is in "ideal" conditions, if there is any danger to the public they are suppost to pull back. But, who is going to know what speed the police where doing? I'm sure most people have seen cops thrashing their cars far beyond what is reasonable.

Research has shown that men usually sleep on the right side of the bed.
Even in our sleep we happen to be right.

lol best not to cause any trouble, theres heaps of stuff out there (away from this forum) that shows what the cars are capable of, no need to proove it.
To those saying "the cut off speed is x, use that in court" but then you'd be admitting you were doing in excess of that speed ... kinda pointless going to court then, you might as well admit you were wrong and cop the punishment first time round.
In case you didnt notice its different state to state as to what class can pursue at what speed. The only thing to remember is these days certain cars dont even have to worry about giving chase to stop you, with onboard cameras that switch on quicker then you have a chance to realise its a cop behind you ... and the like ... all they need is a snapshop of the rear of your car and they'll meet you at home when you get back ...
anyways back on topic lol, what sort of fine you think this guy will cop for 100km/h over![]()
lol was just thinking....i wonder what would happen if a big red hopped out in front doing those speeds...thats just one thought that keeps me being a good boy on the h/way![]()

I rekon the bloke will probally walk out of the court room, probally with a community service or suspended sentence. If it was country WA (dont know where the town he was caught in is located in respects to country/metro WA) he will more the definatly get out a lot easier...
