so many emotions running wild, i think i'm getting horny too!!!!!
I just got myself the movie length premiere of the new series. K.I.T.T is still known as K.I.T.T as he is Knight Industries Three Thousand now. I'm going by what i've been told here as i can't watch it until tomorrow due to the fact i'm going to work soon, sucks to be me.
What i've been told is that KITT is a new mustang. He can also change colour to throw off the enemy. He is no longer bullet-proof as such, he is nano-technology. Meaning the bullets absorb into him and repair themselves. The windscreen also shatters under gunfire but repairs itself also.
David Hasselhoff has a cameo role in it but there is a new michael, michael Jr. The old michael's son. Devon is not in it, he was killed in that gay movie. The role is now replaced buy the 'builder' of the car.
To say the least I am HANGING to watch this tomorrow. The Digital Cinema Surround is going to be full blast baby!!!!!!!!!!!
Will let you all know just how good it is tomorrow.
Has anyone else seen it or know anymore details???????
well i've watched it. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! great storyline. great SFX but needs more. I can't wait to see more episodes. KITT is hot and is voiced by Val Kilmer, but doesn't have the sarcasm of the original. all in all a must watch show.![]()
OK, here I go ...
That movie was a pilot epsiode for the TV series, time will tell if they make more episodes to continue the series ...
It was annoying to see the badges in every scene that showed the car ... it was almost like a 1.5 hour Ford advertisement ... which understandable as Ford and Universal Studios are now the bestest of buddies and Ford put up a lot of $$$ to ensure their car was used.
Errr ... NO !Originally Posted by AirStrike

One thing the original series did was never focus on the fact that the car was a Pontiac Trans Am. All badging was removed and the whole front of the car re-styled so that it didn't look like a road car.
Ford did not allow the shows producers to alter anything on the car in this new show as they wanted it to look like all the other road Mustangs ... and therefore believe that it will translate to more Mustang sales ...
Even the interior is the same as a production Mustang, they just cut the top off the steering wheel ... there was more pride in the original series to completely make the car unique ...
Just have a look at how much work went to make the TV car radically different from a production car in the original series and compare that to this new show ...
And don't even get me started on the story line ...
