So, what are peoples thoughts on people who stab other people in the back(figuratively speaking)?

For me, these people are scum bags. If you don't have the balls to front up and say something face to face, keep your mouth shut. So annoying when people run around other peoples back playing chinese whispers. What makes it funnier is 99% of the time, the people they talk to when back stabbing are usually friends with that person so it all gets back in the end.

Anyone have some good stories about this happening?

yea there was this guy i know, who was getting flack and his position threated because of some wanker who thinks he knows all, then the guy i know finds out he is talking **** to all the others he 'works' with behind his back.

my missus's twin sister changed her mind and sided with her boss to keep her job where they both worked, when my missus had troubles with him sexually harassing them both. landed us all in court and caused all kinds of strife.

People like that **** me to tears. I don't see the point to it honestly. But from what I've seen, those that do it are usually the insecure ones.

I can't really think of any good stories, but you see it happen all the time. Especially at my work. Most of the girls are so bloody catty it's pathetic. But they're the sweetest girls to talk to.

I don't usually associate with them unless i have too. I'm polite to them at work and have the occasional chat, but i wont get involved in anything outside of work. Not worth wasting my time to hear them whinge bout which ever girl is out of earshot.

agree totally. i'l often agree wen someone has a whinge, but normally don't say anything else. got myself in strife for this **** before...
but myself and one of my best mates do it about our other best mates, not out of dislike or hate or anything, but because we've spoken to them, told them what we don't like and they persist in doing it, and it ****es us off. u try to tell them face to face but to no avail

Im guessing you've had this happen to you recently? People just don’t bring this up for the sake of it.

For me I think they're gutless losers who wont move anywhere in life. We had a guy that worked for us. TOTAL wanker, we fired him, 2 years later he came back stating he was a new man because he got married had a kid etc etc, so we took him on again. You know what ive learnt? People NEVER change.

He succeeded in turning 80% of the staffing body against us so we said **** ya's, sacked him again and everyone else. We had staff that had been there for 7 years that we're bitching behind our backs to not only costumers and suppliers but also our competitors!! We do not take that ****... just to give you an idea of how low this guy was, he stole a phone from an employee we we’re doing work for onsite, then tried to sell it back to one of our employees.

Imagine going into that worksite the next day having no idea what’s happened (during that time I was overseeing two jobs at once so I was on the road pretty much all day), having the general manager coming up and saying to you, “I think there’s something we need to urgently discuss in regards to one of your staff”. Not a good look… Having the facilities employees writing, "come back for the charger pussies!" on the notice board. That was the lowest point

this has happend to me b4. and other people have tryed to gossip to me about other people i dont listen much to them. the funny thing about these people is usualy they will be haven a good b*tch and then soon as this person walks through tha door its as if it never happend. some of my friends are like this and to be honest the kind of mates that do this to other people would be doin it to YOU aswell and thats why they cant be trusted

Had this not long ago, My mother had a so called "best mate" We invited her and her family to our family dinners etc back and forward, I drove this friend around for 8 years.
She was very close to my mother she called us family she called me a brother which i wasn't comfortable with.

About 6 months ago she was talking behind ours backs about anything and everything..
Telling someone i was stuck with my mother because i felt bad because she was injured, I was trapped there, I was broke because of this, I had no life of my own because of this, I wasn't getting sex, **** private stuff right there! not open for discussion that's my business, She also was a very bad pokies person, She would loose $1000 at worst in one night, So instead of copping it sweet when she got caught wasting this money, She tells her partner it was my mothers fault she wants money all the time she pushes me into it, So off he goes to the same friend his partner was talking to about us, And he lets go some bombs.
Pretty dumb guy if you ask me believing that **** but he is dumb, My mother never went out with her to the pokies, blatant lie right there, But he wouldn't know he's off to bed @ 10pm every night when she goes out, As long as she's home before he leaves she's safe he's that dumb.

All this time i'm getting this weird feeling and i stay away but my mother still see's her, They decide there buying a home, I word my mother up for something to say and i tell her what will be said back and if this is whats said you know somethings wrong.

So i tell my mother to say we are going to buy the house next door, And he will freak out and say hey what the ****!, And his partner will say latter he was only joking he didnt mean anything by it.
Bingo perfect 100%.
Then the lady they both were talking to comes to my mother and tells her she cant accept what has been said to her, Some very personal and private things about myself that she believed should not be discussed like the weather behind peoples backs, Dam i'm good i told my mother. I do pick up people very well, More also to do with my work you need to know what someone is thinking how they are acting if something is wrong i have learnt that over many years.
Anyway can't go to deep into detail but as always they get what they deserve back stabbers always do.

I think i was disappointed that i drove this lady around to shopping etc and she out of the blue gets her licence, Finally after 10 years, And when i broke down after doing my transmission and then the accident she was not forth coming with a lift as i was, In fact i had only been in her car once, The day she bought it and we lived in the same block!. Good friend lol..

I'm a very private person and most of what was talked about came from my mother, Which i wasn't happy about, My mother trust people who she has been with for a long time, I like to keep my **** to me some things or alot of things you don't need to pass on. I don't have a high opinion of people at times to be honest or open to them easy or except them easy more because i study them there every move every word i don't relax on them or drop my guard you learn that over the years form the way you are treated.
Because there's always someone willing to talk about you behind your back.

This is happening to me right now.

About a year ago I met this girl and we became friends, nothing more. She was quite fond of bitching about her entire family, about how she hates them all. Let me in on quite a few secrets and exactly what she thought about certain family members.

I sat there and listened, and kept my thoughts to myself. In the end I got sick of her negativity and told her to get stuffed.

Fast forward 6 months and I meet another girl, whom I start seeing. I then find out that she is the first cousin of the negative biatch, and that everyone in the family hates the negative one and hasn't heard or seen from her in years.

Somehow, the negative one found out I was going out with her cousin, and all of a sudden various family members started to receive phonecalls from her (remember, they haven't heard from her in ages) as she is keen to make the peace and start over again. She then starts telling people how she knows me and doesn't like me at all. She is doing her best to split us apart.

She then contacts my gf's parents, wanting to meet up and have coffee. Presumably she wants to use that opportunity bad mouth me to them, so my gf told her parents what was going on, about how I know her and know she is out to destroy my credibility.

So its going to be a massive shock to her when she drops some crap in front of the parents and they say "Yeah we know, but you are full of crap".

Or she might just be trying to keep the peace because she is running scared about all the stuff that she told me, and she knows I can use that against her anytime I want

I had a couple of guys at work like that who used to back stab each other to be .I got ****ed of with it so i called them both of them into the office and told them both what they had been saying about each other and to work it out or don't bother coming to work tomorrow .

Often the worst ones to do this is your own family. I've got an aunt who is in her 50's. Has lived in the same house her entire life. Has no friends, never had a bf. But yet she goes out of her way to cause trouble for her brothers and sisters. Her mother was just as bad apparently. When they were kids she would say things and go out of her way to turn all the kids against each other. Needless to say I don't really have that much to do with my own family. Other than blood, I have nothing in common with my family. Lucky I have a bunch of good in-laws.
