Power Surge

Hi people.

I have a power surge unit set up at home that is protecting the tv, xbox, dvd etc. My question is. It has 2 LED lights one says PROTECTED: and the other one EARTHED: Currently it only says PROTECTED, I am wondering how to get the LED to say its earthed. At the moment it says its not earthed and unsure on what to do.
