200sx. Trying to work out if there is a 15" rim that will have the same PCD but a big enough offset to clear the calipers.

No conversion, stick with the SR20. Always been a fan of turbo's, the 'I'd Rather Roar Than Whistle' sig was to combat the ricer 'If it doesn't whistle it's not a missle' crap.

lol i was just taking the ****, i have the msn username v8_symphony, but i'm looking at forced induction 6 or 4 for my next car so i guess i can't really talk. as you say it was just to combat the bull**** ricer image most import drivers give off.

be very wary of the sr20 though, not a bad motor when they're going and all is well. hell expensive to rebuild/work on. anything nissan is like that in my experience as a mechanic. i'm probably looking more in the toyota range, because they're always that bit more reliable, and parts over the last few years have become so cheap for toyota. although i wouldn't knock back another 8, or even stick with the commodores and go for another supercharged 6 with a few mods.

Off topic but factory parts for an SR20 are expensive, aftermarket are quite cheap.

200sx are nice! big enough to get comfortable in but still a light little car! What are u getting 14 or 15? I was looking at buying one before I got the Toyota, but I was more after a comfortable cruiser rather than a high powered car.

    BANZAI BANZAI BANZAI !

Expensive hobby, I can't think of anything more merciless except demolishon derby!... engines, gearboxes, tail shafts, axles, tires, panel damage!!!

But plz do all of it on the track... I see enough tools on the road trying to kill themselves in Silva's and the tire marks out the front of peoples houses don't do much for people trying to build property values !!! The next tool that lays rubber around here is likely to get a brick through the windscreen.

Yeah I realise the punishment on components, but that is no different to any form of motorsport.
No chance on the street mate, as I posted want to get some pro lessons or something to the nature of that........not Akmal down the street taking me to an industrial estate.

Forget the 200sx man !!! get a mx5 + turbo... check out youtube for some vids !!!

Early mx5's can be had for under 10K now, spend another 10K on everything else and it'll be insane... they only weigh 950Kg so there's the big advantage if you want to drift or go quick... late sx200's are about 1400 Kg.

I'm seriously thinking of a mx5 myself. They've always had great reviews as excellent handling sports cars.

It's not just for motorsport though mate. I want the luxuries they come with, good brakes, roomy (for a 2 door), etc.

Any turbo engine (that uses oil only for cooling) should have regular oil and filter changes. The S14 has the SR20DET engine in it, basically years of hard work to make the best 4 cyl they can offer.
