Have they changed your secret question or alternative email for resetting the password? If they have then theres not really much else you can do. Maybe contact hotmail?

How have you said too much? Anyone can get a rough location if they have the IP address. Though my IP says im in a town that im not even really that close to...

Marz, if you want to screw with them, I have a program that will freeze anyones account so they cant sign in until you exit the program. Its only effective if they sign out caus it wont kick them. Pretty sure it just jams the account with jibberish passwords. But still fun to play with and works well

ok well ive spoken to the person and there a hard case to crack and that he does this for something to do, i also know he does not live in australia, and he is now back into doing it again so watch out everyone as you may be his next target, by the way his name is ken

Having your account stolen can be a real pain. I recently had both my hotmail and ebay account stolen. Whoever stole them listed 10 laptops to sell on my ebay account, I had over 120 feedback points and 100% positive. Ebay tried to contact me because they suspected something wasn't right, but I wasn't getting the emails because of the stolen hotmail account. All sorted out now but it was a major pain in the bottom.

happened to my girlfriend last year, we contacted microsoft using my email address and gave them a list of I.P ranges that she usually uses to log into msn, answered a few questions about her profile, e.g first name blah blah blah, then they used my hotmail as the new alternative address and sent us the reset email.

I'm not sure what they did after that, whether they persued the other i.ps on thier logs that didn't match ours but they are very helpfull and so long as you are honest with them and can provide some proof that you are actually the entitled person they will go at length to see you happy.
