black/grey colour in transfluid

hello there,
i drive a pizzahut company car, and i was checking the fluids in the car and when it came to checking auto trans fluid, its a black / grey sort of colour, is this ok or not? if not what would have caused it, also would the trans be stuffed? its done 63,XXXkms toyota echo serviced at 57,XXXkms.

what should we do if its bad? drain tranny fluid and put fresh stuff in or send it in for a service, it still changes gears no problems.

not good for a new car.
take it back to toyota and bring it to their attenion.
and have it noted, their may be a claim soon.
