My housemate woke up this morning only to find some lowlife scum had broken into her car overnight. As far as we could tell the only thing missing was the CD player, but the car also wasn't exactly where she left it. There was still a full tank of fuel so they can't have gone far if they did take it anywhere.
The strange thing is that to get to her POS ford telstar they had to go past my VS with 18s and a fairly visible stereo, but i checked all my locks and they seem fine, and my other housemates old falcon (which was left unlocked with a window down) was fine also.
Checked my shed and I think they might have used my tools to get her CD player, but again nothing was taken, although there are some valuable looking things there.
A warning to all Doncaster members: your car isn't even safe in your own driveway anymore

Wow, what a weird brake in...went for the tricky one, maybe after some experience?
Sounds like a personal attack if you ask me.
One word: GARAGE
I won't live anywhere without one!!!
Moving my garage this weekend!!!! Got a second hand one, will fit 3 cars and some workshop space when it finally goes up. Moving it to our block this weekend then putting it up when time lets me. Insurance should be looking forward to it too!
We have a garage, and my car is usually kept in it. This was the 2nd night all year its been left out. There isn't enough garage space for all our cars (there are 4). My only condition of living here was that I get the garage
I realised today that her ex bought her that cd player and asked for it back about a month ago. Maybe he found out where we live

Mate we had a bloke from Doncaster come work for my work last year, young bloke about 18 years old. He ended up breaking into our work one night with his mates and stealing over $50,000 worth of flea and worming treatment. He knew which isles to go down in our warehouse to dodge all the motion censors and cameras etc too.
It's mainly the shoppo hangers you gotta watch out for. Especially parking your car over there.

Sorry to hear that mate!
They may have just cased your other stuff out and they could even have obtained a set of spare keys that you have not realised yet. They maybe coming back to stock up when everyone is gone... this happened to a mste of mine. They came back a few weeks later while he was at work and cleaned out anything that was good in the house. I would make sure the shed is locked and all goodies are put away and maybe get locks changed in house or add another safety measure just in case.
Not trying to scare the crap outta ya... but when it happened to my mate the first time he was thankful not much happened, but felt totally violated after the second time when they took his car and belongings.
Your housemate did not like just bust up with or have a falling out with someone etc did she? maybe it was a payback thing?
Good luck!
also realised before that they found the spare set of keys for my old car (i had lost them when i got the new car), and must have tried to use them to get into my car.
People like that really just **** me off
