    Default Budget Direct Insurance

    Hey Guys,
Another insurance question for ya. I just bought a 99 VT wags and I'm wanting to get compo insurance on it.
I'm particularly asking about Budget Direct -
If any one is with them and what do they think of them?
Has anyone had any good or bad dealings with them?
Is there any difference in customer service (or anything) to make them a few hundred cheaper than the rest?

    Thanks in advance,
    Deano.

Hey Mate, Im with Budget Direct, i've been with them for just about 2 years, i used to be with AAMI with my car then i found out that i would be paying $1062 for my current car then a rang a few places around and found Budget Direct Thats saved me heaps of Money, I'm paying $645 for Full Com, But u want to include massive amount of modications, they won't ensure your car as much as The Big Ones like, AAMI, JUST CARS & others.

    Thanks
    Erik

Budget direct whenever I've spoken to them, they've said they won't insure a car with any modifications whatsoever.

Yep, if it isn't a factory fitted mod they get a little antsy although i saved nearly $120 a year by switching

We saved about $300 a year with budget direct, but have heard they can be a pain to make a claim through.

Make sure you read the PDS or whatever its called, there are a lot of little points that you have to agree to. the biggest thing that i don't like is having to list every person that will drive your car. If someone isn't listed there's a good chance they won't pay a claim if the person driving isn't listed.
