i just saw 2 new adds, both with quite interesting statements,

1st ad was saying "nothing goes as good as a holden"
2nd "we are releasing a v8 which deactivates cylinders"

anyone else seen them, i laughed because they where just plain boring with a women talking

what they should do is release a v10, and then have 2 deactivate at times

thats what i was thinking, they also stated that they strive to make high quality car etc etc, to some extent i agree because i think the quality of the ve's has risen since they where released, from what ive been noticing at work

Just saw the 60th aniversary adds and they talk about how they export to the world, there diesels and the cylinder deactivation.
Not a breathtaking add but gets the msg across.

my 'boat' actually handles quite well, even out of water. it suprised my bmw driving friends with their tien sports suspension etc.

theres nothing wrong with skylines handling perfomance, i was simply stating that theres a big difference between ve omegas and hsv ve's, as there is a big difference between a toyota surfs and skylines handling capabilities. both being imported obviously.

NEVER!!!! I love commys. VL's and VL turbos are by far my favourite. I hate every v6 commy but. V8 commodores are another story... Slow as ****, but plenty of torque and sound awesome and you can get them moving pretty quick cheaply. But I will always take a turbo charged 6 over a V8. Turbo charged cars remind me of 2 stroke dirtbikes while v8s remind me of 4 stroke dirt bikes. (ive always been a 2 stroke guy).

hemi have had these in jeeps for a while now, obviously it wont be a hemi engine in a holden, but same basic idea

14,15 and 16 seconds on 1/4 is not fast for a v8 guys. Especially when some factory standard imports run as low as 12 second on the 1/4 mile. Oh and I'm not a habib or a uleh. I found that on urban dictionary and thought it was ****ing hillarious. Heres some others

And yes, I will always prefer a turbo 6 over a v8. I dont hate v6 I hate the V6 motors holden used in there cars. Remember the VL motor is a straight 6 and is far superior to any v6 holden used. Dont get me wrong, I love my commodore v8s. I will always take one over a import (theres no import that I really like, they just have good motors.)
