I remember when this used to happen every friday night about 5 years ago. they would do a rolling blockade, except the racers would do 300kph. They stopped it pretty quickly thou, only happened for a few weeks. Does this sort of stuff happen anywhere else? Two men have been arrested after they were allegedly caught drag racing on the Pacific Motorway while two other cars formed a blockade to slow traffic.
Police allege the four-vehicle convey slowed northbound traffic on the motorway to 40km/h from Logan at about 8.30pm before the two front cars started racing.
A female police officer was one of the motorists caught in the congested traffic and she pursued the racing drivers.
The officer intercepted the vehicles at Tarragindi and arrested a 19-year-old Ormeau man and a 23-year-old Beenleigh man.
Both were charged with street racing and speeding and will appear in Holland Park Magistrates Court on May 29.
Their vehicles, a Nissan 200SX and a Mazda 3 sedan, were seized and impounded. The two cars involved in the rolling blockade were not caught.
hahahahah, whats funnier, the fact they were racing a 200sx and a mazda 3 or the fact they got caught![]()

gotta admit MPS' are quick, but on reasonably straight road from a rolling start, it would be hard to outrun a 6T or 6.0
What were the cars that 'used' to race on there to make 300k's?
I'm sure a VE HSV would barely manage that now.
