I'd prefer **** like Gravediggaz, Bone thugs, old Snoop, old Dre, Nate Dogg, Akala, Public Enemy, 2pac and Biggy. Stuff that varied a bit, and didn't have pussy whining gangster wanna be crap. It seems nowadays, if you wear matching trackies and jacket with a wide brim hat, your a gangster.

At least back when ACTUAL thugs turned rap and hip hop artists, it sounded alot better, and was appreciated more because their lyrics were a bit more real because they had actually CAME from project housing estates and ghettos and made something for themselves.

1000000% agree... all the rappers above is what me love that sort of music, not because i wanted to be a gangster, just because you could see there lyrics made sense and had a meaning (listen to any of 2pacs songs and you will see it has alot of meaning in each song)

but all this new crap, has made me hate anything sort of new and claimed to be "rap" or "hip hop".... and eminem and 50 cent were one of the 1st two "rappers" to make me hate it..

nope not really. i reakon easy e's beats are sh*t. least 50 cents songs have a good beat to them. even 2pacs songs (big fan of 2pac too) he has some songs which the beat is so crap, then it gets re-released feat. someone else and it sounds mako.

but BTNH hands down are the best.
