Mate of mine has one and it drives pretty well, has done a couple of trips to Bathurst and back without any dramas and even with a dodgy radiator that's taking nearly as much water as the petrol tank takes fuel nowadays it's still running strongly

I guess like any of the smaller cars of their time just make sure cam belts and the like have been changed but good cars for their size
If ignorance is bliss why aren't there more happy people around ?

They look alright too. My uncle used to have one. Quite reliable if taken care of.

They can take a beating. Very reliable car, my mate used to have one and didn't change the oil in the 5 years he had it, and it still ran as well as the day he bought it lol.

Not a bad looking car for the price either.

Mate they're quite a good car. Is it an SP (1.8L Dohc) or 1.6l?

My sister had an older 323, the thing is bloody unkillable. We took it up the 4wd tracks (out near briag for people who know the area) these tracks are pretty intense, we got down to this sweet river spot when these 4wders said drive up the river a bit and park up near them, we told them what we were driving, and their like how the **** did you get down here, they couldnt believe they said they had to winch at some spots just to get their. Then they said we wont get back out and they will go in front and winch us up if we like. We took a crack at it anyway and we made it, the places we got to were unbelievable, we did end snapping an engine mount, but we drove over 250k's with it snapped haha. Took us a while to figure out why suddenly the radiator hoses were to short. We still have it, its now a paddock bomb that gets driven through the lagoon often lol. They can stand a heap of abuse, still waiting for ours to die lol.

my bro has one, and although they are ugly and his runs like a sack of **** due to needing a service, tune and new engine mount, they are good cars.
