well, a friend invited me 2 Melbourne this past weekend, as she had 2 tickets to the Foo Fighters concert on Sat'day night. so left adelaide friday arvo, got to melbourne...

where do i start? nevr been there b4 and nevr realised the differences between teh cities... melbourne freaked me out!!! the taxi drivers were crazy as, as were lotsa drivers, but damn it was funni, some of the stuff, like pulling in2 the smallest, tightest spots, or moving lanes bout 5 times in 30 seconds or wotevr.

went n saw draculas, luna park, rod laver arena, DFO and the markets. great experience, and most ppl seemed fairly friendly so congrats. Bit disappointed bout the commies tho. i saw more Audi Q7 SUV's than hotted up commies lol

shoulda headed down chapel on friday/saturday night heaps of hektic vl's and some newer commies, lotsa rice.

just don't let anyone catch you looking at their car, or they'll bash you

melbourne is great once you get to understand it a little. Iv lived here my life and i still get freaked out, especially by hook turns

You won't see dick all modded commodores in the city, you should have come out to the eastern and south eastern suburbs mate, then you would be have about a million kitted, 5 litre / Kitted V6 VK - VT's. They are everywhere.

You get plenty of yuppy wankers in the city. That's why i stay away from it. The city sucks.

Hahaha yep welcome to the big city country boy No other cities in Australia compare to Melbourne or Sydney. Even Brisbane is just a country town in comparison.

i had my first experience of melb earlier this year, and ive been back twice already. farking love the city.

ran into the mayor in collins street, his a champ. he stopped and had a 5min chat with us. wish we had someone like that running our city..

great public transport, though that left to turn right at lights, trips me a little..
how handy having the train dump u right out the front of flemington race track!
the women are gorgeous and not stuck up, well atleast the ones i met.

its such a clean city, well setout city. and never had a problem with ********s, when walking home at 3am, with a gutfull of ****. seems like majority of ppl are just out to have a good time, not to fight.

and an AFL game at the G, packed house is a must...

Ive lived in sydney, qld & melbourne. Melbourne ftw

Hotted up Commodores are in the west, Where all the hoons are.

Actually The west is expanding and the hoons are moving further out now, No place to hit the back streets anymore.

When you have been in Melbourne for plenty of time you work out the traffic easy enough and what to avoid.
