Default Bad Accident police and milk tanker

after seeing this on the news its a miracle and a tribute to the good design of cars these days that a police officer is still alive with only bruises and cuts after being squashed between two tankers, (car was a ve ss btw if people couldnt tell)

i also wish the injured has a good recovery, cause hes damm lucky

There's a clip on youtube somewhere of a similar accident in the US... A semi slammed into the back of a car sitting behind another semi... All you see is the two trucks touching together and the car is wedged underneath them... The driver of the car pulled through ok... He was luckily to be the only one in the car and his seat broke on impact which made him lay flat as his car got compacted under the first semi.

After seing that I make sure to keep well clear of trucks... Also after watching Mythbusters and seeing what a piece of truck tyre can do when it blows out, I dont travel along side of them either... A truck tyre popping at 100 km/hr can break window glass and take your head clean off.

I hope the injured copper pulls through ok.

Damn! Yeah...between even one truck and one car, it'll always be the car that comes worse off.

Best of luck to the occupants of the car.

damn, on inspection it looks like the truck in front wasn't a tanker, they look like reels of paper or something else, good thing those things held tight because they weigh a tonne, i've heard stories of them bouncing off and flattening a couple of cars like they were tinfoil.

hope the blokes involved aren't in a bad way.

the truck in front, carrying steel coils, had been pulled over by the cops.

the cop car, positioned behind the truck, was then hit from behind by the milk truck.
