    I hope they have improved the commodore over the years

    It was definantly posted on SC, so that might be where Dylan saw it.


    And for the record, that car has a Vinyl Roof, so it looks worse than it would be (considering not many had vinyl roofs)

    The last time it came up the claim was 140kph impact.

    I have seen it else where too. From memory there was something funny about that car or test. I think it was doing 100 km/h or there abouts into the wall.

    Pay attention to the front seats head rest and steering wheel collide, then imagine your head being in between them. And the car continues to crumple long after that. Thats almost disturbing!

    Else where we had discussions on this also, It was well over 100.. And we think some parts were removed like engine and some support,
    It's trying to make an example that old cars are weak compared to new cars.

    Not suprising if the car has been altered as posted above. Cut the guts out of any car and things are going to be messy.

    Interesting... Why would they want to do a a crash test removing the guts of the car?

    Intersting to watch...

    I recall watching a vid of a chinese make car doing about the same in term of performance though it was a "on road" as is version...

    yeah I remember seeing a video of that or a similar video and the worst thing is that it is a modern car!
