I enjoy my work. I started just over a year ago, more money less responsibility to where i used to work, but to be honest I am bored ****less now!! lol I actually miss having 10 fingers in 10 pies so to speak.
It doesn't help that the work itself has slowed, a very quiet start to the year, which is why I'll stay put till it picks up.
I can understand that you have good days and bad ones, but as long as the good out weigh the bad, by a high percentage, you'll get through it.

I'm paid a decent salary for working with, and supporting, technology (biometrics) that I love.
Work supplies me with a laptop, blackberry, top private health insurance, parking and meals re-imbursment, and soon they'll re-imburse all my fuel (instead of a pay rise).
Plus we work out of a serviced office with awesome views of the mountains west of Canberra (when I'm in the office). I get to travel to Dublin, Washington D.C., Tokyo, Wellington and soon a few cities in Europe business class...
I get unlimited fully paid rec leave (within reason and provided all my work is done) and unlimited fully paid sick leave.
So I think it's safe to say I LOVE my job![]()

hmm I work for Porsche and Aston Martin and Sydneys only Bentley and Rolls Royce dealer ... in a way I cant complain! Although most of my day is made up dealing with BMW, Honda, Jaguar, Peugeot, Range Rover and a few others.
Part of the fun working for a multi franchise dealership I suppose!! The track days are good tho, especially Porsche and Aston days at Eastern Creek! You try to tell me a GT3 Carerra isnt fun ;P
I just started my job as an Electrical Engineer in February and I am loving it. I deal with industrial applications and its really challenging, which makes it exciting most of the time. After being a student for 4 years its a big step up in the financial area and its definately what I want to do. I have even started dabbling in project management which is pretty exciting too.
I love being a site based engineer as I work in an office but I get the change to get my hands dirty too!
I guess the only thing I miss is being 6 hours away from my girlfriend so I would I like to be back with her and do the same job, then life would be perfect.
I work as a carer, as horrid as it sounds to some, it is a very rewarding job and yes I do enjoy it. I work 500 meters down the road, takes me 1 hour a night to get the bloke into bed, and I am paid well.
Yeah ok, dealing with assholes and di*ks..... well isn't that what most people do too?
And well I'm a housewife/mum during the day and no wouldn't change that either.
yeh i was havin a whinge but got over it. As true as it was I thought to myself there have been some huge advantages to the role change

Only been at it for - hmm 12 months in 2 weeks - boy that went quick.
Office has sea and hill views Work every second weekend but have every Friday off.
Second best job I've ever had. (best was Asset Control Officer of 80 mil dollar asset base for 3 years)
White 05 V6 VZ Executive - Thrashed Ex Telstra car
and 3 Dangerous non ABS VN's
Most exciting job I have had was as a Comissioned Office in the RAAF - Air Traffic Control...
plasterer.. although i cant complain too much i sometimes hate it. the best part is the contract rates but that is also the bad part. when the work is going full on i can make anywhere between 600 and 1000 a day but on the other end of the scale i have gone 2 or 3 weeks without pay. basiclly, you take the good with the bad. fortunatly there is heaps of work on at the moment and when it picks up to full pace i should be able to make 2300 working a 4 day week
tyre fitter, getting back into wheel aligning soon, gives me enough money and the other staff are awesome, i love my job!
We got rep back, yaaay!
I do Accounts Receivable for a Food Service Company and honestly, I love my job. As much as I get ****ty and stressed and work long hours, I do enjoy doing it. I don't think I'd change it for anything.

Chuck Norris destroyed the periodic table, because he only recognizes the element of surprise
I'm in education and employment for people with disabilities and disadvantages. I have been doing it for 7 years. The pay is **** and the work is **** at times with some of the wankers I have to help find jobs for. But overall I am pretty happy with it. If I had more pay and a company car again I would be more happier.
