I don't think much about life, Bad luck is a myth i truly try and ignore bad luck,
Life is life just hope you go through it without any problems. Enjoy it it's pretty short just don't step on others when enjoying it is my saying.

But on God i don't know about him creating me, I'm sure mum said only my father was in the bed that night.

I like to believe there is a purpose in life and that after we die thats not the end, if it is then that sucks, how can we do so much when we live and then just have nothing after that? as for God, which one? are there many? and in the eyes of Austin Powers " oh no i've gone cross eyed! Like CSP said we are born to die, Life is just one big path with decisions to be made that will open up doors and close others.

My purpose in life is to fix comps, but as for I a higher purpose I dunno

In the scheme of things I am chaotic-good (using a d&d term. I like to do the right thing, but may not follow the rules to get there.

I think who you are is made up of a couple of things, Your personality, your parents parenting skills and your life experiences

As for the God thing, there are so many conflicting ideas in religion that annoy me, I just stick to the motto "Try to treat others how you would like to be treated"

Or does DNA set our destiny to who we become?

I think DNA is similar to a class of a program... it gives the instantiated identity.

But DNA can mutate... therefore isn't DNA a just some complex variable?

Is DNA then not deterministic to who we are?

I think maybe it is... DNA could be set to let itself be changed!

But does DNA play roulette with what it lets change it?

If it is true God created us in his image... Why are we all different? Why did you not think post this?

i would have to say that ones dna is like 100's of different choices that occur during your life e.g. suerceptability to deseases etc. and that it is ones nurture as to what decisions we make. i spose the whole nature vs nurture thing is age old, some things we cannot help but its the way you are raised and in the enviornment that your are in which ultematelly direct the action/reaction. lol god, lets look at it literally, the first religion was called mazdaism (where the company got their name, which means cearter of all created by none) which was exactly like christianity with different labels. same can be said with most religions, but what is religion? i would argue that it is a simplified way to look at the complexities in life and ways to deal with it, in the same argument (and i relly dont mean to offend any religiouse people here) the lager % of less furtunate people who dont have access to private education etc etc etc are the more religiouse, so one could state that it is a simple mans instruction book. all religions contain the base values in which we all have instilled within us, we all know murder is wrong without reading a bible etc, so what is religion really, i would say it is fear. fear of the unknown fear of death and then once more we have to fear our creator, but we do know these things, we will die someday, will will loose that job someday, we will all loose that house/car one day so all that matters is how you go about spending the time you have. you either die fighting or die on your knees, what ever the result is your choice. personally i would rather the more nobil persuite at least you lived a good life and if their is a creator then whoever it is cannot be disapointed with you as you did what you believed to be righteous.

The core of the Copenhagen Interpretation to quantum theory. Nothing is real unless it was observed. So if something isn't seen or heard, does it actually exist? Or is it just that it can't be quantified?

Pondering the meaning of life goes back as far as man's ability to philosophize. I think Monty Python described it best, we only live once, so we better enjoy the ride.

I believe only those that can understand concepts of right and wrong... truly know what is right and wrong.

If there is a God, a creator; and God is responsible for our existence then don't we all belong to God? If God gives us choice to believe in God, doesn't that choice we make also belong with God? Just like the fish a fisherman catches belongs to the Skipper of the boat and not just the fishermen on the boat. How then can God ever pass judgment on our choice? If God says that man I created has chosen badly I'll destroy him now... who really is implicated in the choice? Who should take responsibility for the decision made? Man or God who made the man and gave the man the choice to make a decision? Who really is responsible for the fish bleeding on the deck... the Skipper or the fisherman ? The Skipper took the boat to the fish to let the fisherman fish.

Hypothetically lets say... I give a child a gun... lets call the gun "belief" and I say here is a target to shoot at called Heaven and over there is a man called Hell... choose to shoot whatever pleases you... then the child shoots the man dead... am I not guilty in some way of a mans death? Did I not give a weapon to an innocent child to play with?

Hypothetically... I gave a stupid choice for a child to make and that resulted in a mans death... who is the most guilty and implicated?

I'll rest my case and my head, cause now it's unravelled into thread.

Man was made in gods image, not by physical features as such but we were made with the ability to love, to have justice, to have wisdom, and also power, and yes in a way we were even given the ability to create life with conception!

The father has given everyone life! He does not make people do his will or even make people do good deeds as such, but its the fact that people have the ability to reflect his image in love but have chosen a course of evil and lawlessness that is what ultimately condemns them and leads to Judgement and then the judicial punishment of everlasting destruction! However it is written that god desires none to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance (this is why the lord Jesus was given to forgive the repentant of their sins) now with that said i dont want to start a religion bashing thread ect ect but i wanted to explain to you what i believe!
