On Thursday morning I was taking hubby to work and traveling along Boronia rd when we came across the big accident up near the hospital and KFC. The traffic was being directed by police and some turning lanes had been cut off, so the traffic was bad and I am sure people were going to be late but why act like a F### tool? When police are directing you DO NOT follow traffic lights! people were tooting, some just driving through, we are stoped becuse of an accident and they are endangering people to cause another one. Why do we act like sheep and follow the leader?and why are we so uptight we can not deal with being late 5 mins or just have enouh compasion to let people in? in short relax people!
What do you all think JC people's
I dont drink these days. I am allergic to alcohol and drugs. I breakout in handcuffs!
The less people know about how sausages and laws are made, the better they'll sleep at night.
i would have to say that a lot of it is due to the me generations (those born from late 70's to current) whos only concern is them and their well being. i dont care as i am late, who cares about him because im late. its the common saying manners are gone, due to the competitive work sysems and pop culture its all about aquiering material possesions to make you better than your fellow man. but hey dont lower your standards/morals for anyone, i just feel sorry for them in a way as that sort of behavior eventually will lead to a very lonelly life indeed.
Im from the country, so i really notice **** like that when driving in melbourne. Its like they are all missing common sense, and most drivers have absolutly no driving skills. THOUGH what seems to amaze me is that though they cant share the road or drive at speed limits or stay in one lane, people in melbourne can revertse parrarell park really well. Its something we never have to do in the country, EVERYONE drives in, even if its takes a couple of goes or blocks the road doing so lol.
Police should have switched the lights to flashing amber though...
I think many people are on auto. pilot while driving, particularly for their regular commute. Change something and they either try to continue doing what they are used to doing or get really confused. Some may then act in a selfish way if it's not clear what it is they are meant to do.
An example I witnessed recently was where the police had closed a side road off for an emergency repair to a water main. With a police car parked so as to block most of the two lane road width and a police officer there to direct traffic to continue along the main road, someone still tried to drive around the police car and police officer, then wondered why she got upset with them.
the best i've seen is a guy who changed into the LH slip lane at the lights, in front of an approaching ambulance with sirens and lights, to get the holeshot off the green.
i remember thinking that was probably the best mix of ignorance and selfishness i'd ever seen
Yep, there are alot of tools out there. My point? Break away and be an individual, don't follow impatient knobs through a set of traffic lights when police are directing traffic. And if someone starts tooting you and abusing you, open your car door, get out, turn around, and stare at them like you are about to cut their neck open. If that doesn't work, give them the finger![]()

As I approach the crossing and as usual I stop to make sure the the cars also stop to give me way. But guess what three cars in a row just drove by without even looking!!!
Some people just don't look do they?
Ahhhh i love the country, none of that crap to put up with.
i was driving in melbourne one day (from the country) and im trying to get into a lane near that really big roundabout near the royal melbourne hospital (trying to find somewhere to park at the hospital) and there was a guy behind me, and a car in front of me, waiting for room to get into the lane. we were sitting there for 1-2 minutes and the car infront of me found room and got in, and from the time it took for me to move my foot off the brake to the accelerator, which is only 1second, the idiot behind me tooted me to get me to move on. i just thought to myself 'damn i am going, f**k'
and later that day, some ford driver was infront of him, had his indicator on turning right (we were in the right lane) and he had it on for god knows how long, a few good hundred metres.
ive got more but geez people can be impatient and stupid
as good ol doctor phil would say "your enabling them".
the rest of the world is making all this new technology making people lazier and dumber and that carries onto everything they do
