My first Commodore, my VL, went to my sister. Rarely gets registered now, unless i borrow it from her lol
My VL Ute went to a mate, thrashed, then defected, and resold to one of his mates. Hopefully getting a dedicated track build.
My VK Wagon, sold to a mate, sold to a different mate, and T boned a Van. Was shattered, cause i was thinking about buying it back.

Yeh my first (real) car.... old Nissan Skyline series 1 Silhouette, sold it and found out two months later after two months of constant redlining it blew a hole through the side of the block (im assuming piston??)...... ****ed me off after all the work I'd done to it, but the guy was a tool..... now I sell my cars for cheaper if the new owners seem like responsible drivers, or give them to my family (mum has the Vr I built up).
I have seen both my old cars parked around town.
My VL I noticed was parked in safeway one day.
And my VT who I sold to a girl who was moving to Queensland. A year later I saw it parked down the main street of my town. Had to do a few 'lappies'to check it out.

when i sold my falcon, because i was living in a small town i used to see it all the time but a few of his "mates" took it for a "joy" ride collided with a fence and twisted the chassis. i was a bit devo, but my auntie was more so because she had it from new and sold it to her daughter who sold it to me. i felt a bit guilty. oh well you move on.
Not quite the same but I met the guy who sold my motorbike to the guy I bought it off. Or in plain english, the owner before last.
Turns out the number plate was still the same and all the custom stuff he'd done to it had all been left in place. The motorbike had a fair few mods, because the first guy was a motorbike mechanic at a major dealership.
When I had problems with the carbies, he helped me fully rebuild them and was as crushed as I was when the bike went. God knows what the new owner has done with it, I think he's probably binned it.
I couldn't care too much though. The guy I sold it to paid more than I paid for it and he's earned the right to bin it.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to see it, friends keep telling me they've seen it around town but I think it's a look alike. When I sold it I wasn't 100% convinced it was going to last with the driver and the lack of good fuel where he was taking it.
I imagine its dead. Such a shame. I know it was in Mackay at one stage, I got a parking fine before he changed details over.
Speaking of bikes though, a friend sold his gxr and a week later he got a phone call from the police, apparently he was involved in a chase in Brisbane.
I know where all the cars I've owned are still. All of them are still around in some way or another. Mostly restored and in storage. Because I never sell one unless it's going to someone that's looking to rebuild it
An 89 VN I used all the Calais interior for the V8 Sedan was sold to a freind's lad - he lent it to his ex and she wrapped it around a tree. Photos on JC's somewhere. They split it in half. The cops rang me and asked about the seatbelts - did they work properly.....
Yep they did. They just didnt all have em on. Idiots

my second car was a 99 vt series 2 commy, sold it back in 2005 recognized the number plates saw it a couple minutes down the road in a 3 car pile up, had nice rims on it and was lowwered the prang didnt treat it to well though not sure it it would have been repairable also the chick i sold it too wasent driving it so maybe new owners ?
i saw it quite a few times just after i sold it with the new owner too but it dissapeared for a few years.
my first car i sold to a good mate of myne, so i used to see that all the time untill he wrote it off.
havent seen any other of my cars
I'm pretty sure I saw my old Datsun Pulsar a few weeks ago at Asburton Safeway, being an 81 model there aren't that many on the road anymore and it even had the same speaker set-up and fuel tank dint that mine had
Just wondering if anyone has ever been involved in an accident or road rage incident with their old car ?
If ignorance is bliss why aren't there more happy people around ?
Apparently my old VN is cruising arround in WA now, it made the trip from QLD to WA in one peice with no hassles. I kinda miss not seeing it arround, maybe one day I will recognise it somehwere.
I recall, after fronting court (for my fourth loss of licence) the magistrate telling me that it might be a good idea to get rid of my 1972 HQ Monaro Coupe....slightly worked of course![]()
I actually traded it in at Keven Dennis Holden in Ballarat Rd here in Melbourne for a 4 cylinder VH. I wish now I'd just garaged it.
Anyway, I recall about a month later pulling up next to it in Main Rd St Albans and all excitedly telling the guy (through the window) that I used to own it. His response: '**** off loser' and he then took off in a cloud of tyre smoke.
There is not a day gone by that I don't regret selling that beautiful car and wonder if it's still around
Btw, I have garaged my two owner VH 253. and one day I'm going to restore it.....yeah one day.
I've only ever seen my old motorcycle again after I sold it. When I traded it in on another bike, it turned up again in the hands my mate's gf's little brother. He must of been impressed with it's wheelie ability !!! Haha, I dunno what happed to it afterwards cause my mate and his gf splitup.

i sold me old Stato to a guy in Geelong,
it still gets around it the same condition i sold it in, the guy fell in love with it and still keeps it in good order
all the install is still intact and everything
I sold my very first car, a colt, sold it not running. I was shattered to have to sell it. But I bought a VH Commo which was the beginning of wat we have made 2day. I saw the Colt about a year ago parked on the side of the road a few houses down. I had a good suss at it, was even lookin through the windows.....really wanted to know if it ran yet (it could of been towed there for all I know), but never found out.
Mum use to have a mint VP Berline, she traded it in when she bought her AU (6 months later she traded that in on the VX :P). Bout a year ago we pulled up next to the VP in a car park. Didn't recognise it.....it was pretty much a run down piece of crap full of aborigines.![]()

I've never owned a car, but Mum had an old Corona back in the '70s that they traded in 1982 to buy our 'Tunner. Apparently the dealer used it for a while as their courtesy car, and anyway, a few months later, they had to take the 'Tunner in for service, and got the old Corona for the day, and apparently, basically it was a run down piece of crap, which is a shame, as Mum had always looked after it very well. We still have the 'Tunner, we just hardly drive it these days since it costs a bomb to run.Its a shame too...tbh, if it had power steering, a beefier engine and a proper stereo (the stereo is a ten and a half billion year old Pioneer with a busted cassette deck, one remaining speaker, and a tuner that cuts out), I'd much rather drive it than the Hilux.
Oh yeah, and my grandparents saw their VL getting around for a bit after they sold it in 1992. It was a cream VL Exec...I wonder if its still around today, probably been stacked by now i guess![]()
