Yeah pretty stoked!! On top of now getting a 6 figure salary, I also got council approval to start building my house. I've had a pretty effing good day!!!!

As a Defence Employee I had a 1 and half hour joy ride in a Blackhawk over lake Hart (Woomera) We did 6 tail first landings. Jelly legs after and I left my sunglasses at work as it was dark when we finished. Man that WAS a great day. I was expecting a ride in a herc. That had to go early so he pointed to the Blackhawk. I thought he was joking but after the half hour drill on what to do if it crashed and we had lift off - Yep I was on a Blackhawk. Ride of a lifetime flying at 125 knotts and doing right angle turns that make you look at your feet. I thing they were trying to make me sick

Nope. Company I'll be working for has just recently procured a 34 year contract for X-35 JSF. And they're in Melbourne.
The RAAF will start to induct the F-35 Lighting II around 2012.
