Angry Has Your Insurance Preimums Gone Up?

hey guys, just rang up my insurance company Budget Direct, about my insurance that is due in a months time, and Big Surprise It went Up Bloody Hell , somethings never change, i was paying $663 before , then they tell me the new Total $678 WTF you got to be kidding me, i ended up pulling it back to $663 but it really frustrates me about insurance , i was thinking it was going go down but instead it goes Up , it probably because i haven't been on my my full license for 2yrs , and i so can't wait to leave my screwed up suburb, Dandenong Insurance Premium are massive i was checking my car on different insurance company's and all of them were massive, thank god i'm shifting soon,

Anyone else noticed their insurance Preimums going up Instead of going down?

    Thanks

This is where most insurance co's get sneaky. When you take out an insurance policy you get a reasonable price. Then the next year when it comes time to renew it the premium rises by about $50 - $80 even if you've made no claims. I found a way around this. I would do a new online quote as if I was a new customer. I'd get a quote of about $50 cheaper than my existing premium. I then call the insurance co to confirm the quote then tell them I'm actually an existing costomer and DEMAND to know why a 'new' customer gets a better deal than a good existing customer. I've never been able to get a straight answer. The last answer I got was "I think we have two different computer systems for new and existing customers" YOU THINK?!?!

Anyway I get around it buy taking out a whole new policy each year rather than renewing it.

with aami you get the same deal unless you circumstances change, also gives you fire and theft option where others dont, also you get an agreed value if you every have it written off/stolen/burnt, depending on its actual condition, not just market value.
