should i buy a new car? or not?
i dunno im trying to decide...
ill post some pics up when i got the twisted panels off it tommorrow...
i wasnt going very fast, i just wasnt stopping
it was that bad after the smash i had my foot flat on the brakes and it was rolling backwards
youve smashed it a few times already hey? just garage it and buy an xf...
yeah smashed it last time from brakes, i was on my way to pick up new rotors and pads when this happened...
i gotta get it off the street, might disconnect the engine belt and drive it down my driveway tommorrow, looks fixable... nothing structual is badly damaged
i know, there crap arent they. lol
come on post some pics
nah ill pass on that one
maybe when its fixed... we pushed it into my driveway (it wont start, cranks but wont start)
transcooler lived... radiator didnt, p/s pump didnt, battery kinda didnt..
its going to be a bit of fun pulling straight but the rails are still dead straight so its not structually damaged... i just got lucky maybe...ill see tommorrow when it gets stripped back to a frame
tank looks damaged... sell it to me.... lol..
Hope its ok, if rails are good then panels will be **** easy to get.
Radiators are spensive... hopefully salvageable...
aZk.
radiators bent round in circles... :P
its not pretty...
wtf happened?
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
- Theodor Seuss Geisel
brakes failed on my way to pick up new brakes :S (no ****)
car infront of my braked hard and i could only slow down to about 45-50...
Need some pics to see if it is worth fixing or not. VP panels are very cheap - the SS front lip and lights cost the earh (if you can find one) but I have collected nearly a full front clip - let me know if you need any bits.

that was such a nice looking car too, even if you just salvage parts and get rid of the wreck it would be worth a bit.......
even better, transplant into a vk calais!
he should be able to get most of the panels from me. lucky im wrecking a white VP with a good condition front end

Yeah, fix it up man. She'll be right.
sounds like a normal front ender.
how can you tell the rails arnt bent??
ive done it a few times. just looked at it and thought nothing then measured it up and its sucked one in.
you might think diffrent to me, but ive seen and fixed countless front enders
ive done it to a vl of mine which was recently resprayed, it was clean as. at the end of the day its just metal not flesh, let it go if its bad. its replace able
your legs or life isnt worth it for the sake of having a badge on your firewall,
even someone whom could buy the car years down the track isnt!!!!

paradox, get a mate and you measure the rails end-by-end then compare the right to the left, if the measurements are differant its bent![]()
