well i live in QLD and where i live we have been having rain non stop for the last 24 hours....getting to the point of flooding around my place . Pot holes are opening up everywhere as they do everytime it rains (always the same pot holes )

whoever else lives around the wide bay/southeast area hows the weather and roads there? im near maryborough and going by the weatehr radar and weatehr people, we are in for a bit more yet.

Ayup, its been absolutely ****ing down in Bundy and the surrounding areas today lol. Driving down to Woodgate this afternoon, and across the road from Goodwood school was an overturned scrap metal truck...poor bastard had obviously lost it in the wet weather, and lost his load too.....

well its slowed down now only a shower or 2 every now and then and yeh herd about that overturned truck on the radio this morning lucky no one was badly hurt.

yeh the bay lol it likes to flood there near the hospital. been there a few times when it has only rained for a bit and was thinking ....*this road must go under when it ****es down*

oh well atleast our tanks are full now was getting low ..(we dont have town water lol dunno why haha the main pipe goes straight past our house:P)

cairns isn't to bad, we had a few days of rain early in the week but the last couple of days have been very nice.

ha ha. I live in a 2 suburbs away from a suburb that is full of complete tards and i hear every night the same thing as you. Except when it rains i hear skids and then brakes locking up and screeching and then skids again

anyone here driven on maryborough/bay (in QLD) road today? reason being is that i was gonna go to bay tommorow but herd on news that the road has pot holes everywhere (as it always does after it rains) BUT they said a heap of cars have been badly damaged (lol also as cars do when driveing on that road haha)....so yeh anyone know how bad it is and if they have fixed it yet?

I havnt been on it for a good 3 months, used to commute on that road every day, was a **** road, still is. When it rained hard it was pretty good when it came to pot holes, not many opened up, you could see most from a fair distance away, just gotta be alert man thats all. I would avoid Boral road from what ive herd though.

Be carefull on boat harbour drive next to caltex round about, there are a few holes that lead to china there, its always like that.

The coast it OK, it rains really really heavy at night and 70-90km winds, but durring the day its just gray skies and the occasional shower. It woke me up lastnight and the night b4, we have pine trees accross the road from us and i have never seen them bend over so far in all my years of living here and we've had some pretty bad storms come through.

The utes outside atm so im hoping it doesnt hail!!

Its been raining on and off here today (logan city) but have had some heavy downfalls over the last 3 days!
Hey f1tzy you wouldnt happen to live around logan by any chance? its just that you say you hear the idiots come out in the rain ect, and i live not to far from kingston/compton rd and mate some of the fools ya here on the roads (especially in the wet) skids lock ups and yes the occasional sound of glass smashing!!
