Queens Birthday Long Weekend

Just thought id make this up just to ask what is everybody up to on the long weekend (even though its sunday). what have you got planned for monday? working? maybe visit some friends? work on your car?

myself, might go around to my mates today and see if his dad can put some undercoat on my vz ss bumper to get it started. monday, might go into albury and see what shops are open (truth be told, i just want to go for a little drive haha). but these plans could change.

What i was going to do....
Firday work, come home strip the front VN gaurds down, and hit with primer.
Saturday, paint gaurds, redo my clutch in my car, service mums.
Sunday - Day with my girl, and start assembling VN
Monday - Assemble VN, relax, possible cruise.
What ive ended up doing.
Friday - Worked, finished early - Brothers inlaw died, so no painting gaurds
Saturday - Had to assemble VN, everything went to ****, taught the neighbours some colourful words haha, got no where on VN, Serviced mums, didnt touch mine.
Today - Spending the arvo with my girl hopefully
Tomorow - Assemble VN

So once again my car will be put off for another week, i just have to keep driving around in 4th gear, caus i cant downshift until i come to a complete stop, makes round abouts bloody hard i tell ya.

I'm at work at the moment and will be here all week end.
Set off heaps of fireworks last night at a BBQ, as we are still allowed to have them in the ACT. We had around $600 worth. Started setting them off a 6:30pm and finish at 9pm heaps of fun and all hands are still intacted.

friday - catched up with some ladies
sat - went for a cruise / got somethin to eat then went home for some ps3 with mates . then back to another mates and hit the Jim beam and cokes wathced soccer

Spend yesterday lowering my car & doing a full detail. The out cruising last night til 5am. Now car is filthy!!

Put stickers on NUFNSUS this morn & a trip to the wreckers planned for the sarvo....


Plus didnt end up doing much work wise on thursday & Friday anyways..... damn flooding of my work building!..... hahas!! They could have just not mad us come in on the friday thou

Yeah dramas here too grrr, I had a direct debit coming out from a company in QLD but my pay didn't go in this end till Tuesday so got stung with a $50 overdrawn fee, bastards!

Sat - Kids party and being preg I can not even drink to ease the pain!!!
Sun - Day off not doing a god damn thing
Mon - Go up the farm to tell parents about the little alien growing in my tum!! so I kind of get a day with my car just have to take the whole mob with me!! plus will give the tractor and the quad a hammering too!!

Friday night - Cruised with the Vic crew until about 12:30am

Yesterday - Went car hunting, found 2 ****house VR clubby's that i wouldn't have ****ed on if they were on fire, then went to a mates and watched every single episode of Underbelly and knocked back a few bourbons and had a good sleep

Today - **** all, get a good sleep tonight

Tomorrow - Gonna go look at VS Manta i think i might buy

friday night played some poker and took a few $$ home
saturday did the gf thing and hung out, hit the **** that night and stepped out for a few more
sunday had breakfast with the mrs, bought some parts and went to work on painting dashpad/recovering arm rest pads/putting new splits in the front..didnt get as far as i wanted to
monday gonna do a bit more on the car, then goin out with mates and gf on the old boys boat to drop a line in. monday nite probly play some cards and have a few hot toddies
tuesday (scored it off :P) gonna finish of the car hopefully, and go and suss out some pc parts


long weekends = win. gives you a chance to do stuff you never have time to do otherwise.

Worked Friday night & Saturday day, caught up with a close 'friend' last night, worked today and working tomorrow

I had my long weekend from Monday to Wednesday as I'd done 36 hours in the two and a half days prior

What's a public holiday?..

Get up early, Do the norm, Race up to SuperCheap and hope something is good on special for the car, Get some time too clean the engine bay out, Then continue the day like normal.

Otherwise studying for exams.
