What the hell is with kids today saying things along the lines of "don't worry mate he is just jealous" when something that doesn't positively follow what people want to hear?
If i was jealous of something I would flat out admit it. Really though, if i say I do not like something about a VN V6, it certainly isn't because I am jealous. If i disagree with something it certainly isn't because I am jealous. Sometimes PEOPLE JUST DO NOT LIKE THINGS.
Why can't people get this through their thick skulls?

I think it's more a consoling thing. It's like telling some devastated chick after she got dumped that she's not really fat, ugly and needy, she was just going out with a wanker.
When he most likely just did the most rational thing possible by dumping the ugly bitch.
The jealousy comment is more consolatory, rather than a personal attack on you. It probably also makes people feel more justified in whatever opinion they have on their cars or whatever.
Some people need to eat some concrete and harden the **** up.
The Jealousy statement is just to make people feel better. I say there is no need to for that. They need to hear the truth. Truth sometimes comes out.
If I don't like his car, I gonna say don't like it. Why should I be afraid to say what I really think or feel?..
Theres 2 differant types of situations that are relevant to this topic, in person and on the net. If it was in person by a youngster it would most likely be a comeback in a friendly way, perhaps has nothing better to say.... If you were on the street and didnt like someones outfit, would you walk up to them and say ' i dont like your outfit' ??
on the internet, which it sounds like this thread topic is relevant to, people post topics about their cars for people to look, admire and comment on them. they dont want to be flamed with negative feedback in a abusive way, and most of the bad feedback i read is somewhat how you would talk to a piece of crap. Its only natural for someone to react when rude pricks make comments like that, even if the comeback is lame. If you dont like something its ok to say it in a civil way in conversation not just 'looks like crap mate' 'thats the worst thing ive ever seen' 'looks better than my dogs arsehole'
Good example of rude pricks- http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...-clean-5g.html
i could of made many comments on his car, but i chose not to, becasue im a half decent person. Imagine if it was you selling the car, would you like it for people to come and make remarks about your car, whatever the condition it may be in?
This person hasnt even replied to the topic, nor will the car be selling on this site after the comments made.
People need to grow up and speak to people how they normally would in real life. Because most of these flamers wouldnt have the balls to do it in real life.

this is the internet, not real life. theres going to be flamers. learn to ignore people or dont bother posting stuff when you know theres a chance someone will sook or have a go at you/your car
People making negative comments about peoples cars can be very positive, especially in the for sale section.
On another forum where people sell a lot of motorbikes, the comments keep the buyers honest. One time there was someone who posted pictures up of a bike, saying he'd never dropped it, but there were signs of road rash that people asked him to justify.
Most newbies might not find these and it encourages more open communication. Comments about a classified will usually give buyers more pertinent information than the ad itself.
If I'm considering buying a car, I want to know if people think it's a good deal for what it is etc. Pricing modified cars is impossible with redbook.
thats a valid point i didnt think of....... Theres lots of innocent people like yourself out there, but im sure youve seen a case or two that im reffering to?
In alot of cases it can be avioded, but if its for the reason you specified, im all for it.
theres nothing wrong with a bit critasism as long as its helpful e.g nice car but lose those mudflaps. jus give suggestions to how they can make there car better. i have said it once in another thread and i will say it again your not only wasting his time but your own time i mean honestly whats the point in posting useless crap like thats the uglyest thing thing iv ever seen, that thing is a piece of sh**. if you post stupid things like that expect to get responces such as "your only jelious". it makes me wonder if even half of the people that post this crap are like this in real life and if they do have they still got a full set of teeth![]()
Tell me something, how is saying "That is an ugly car" any different to saying "mate hot car"?
There is only ONE difference, the latter is not blowing smoke up the arsehole of a member to make him feel like he has a bigger ****.
My point is, all the GEN Y's use the "jealousy" line on almost everything. You people need to face up to the fact that people aren't jealous of things whether it be a butt ugly VY kit on a VL or a turbo charged 6 that produces 6980 rwkw(on a dyno with no proven times to back up power figures at the track)), sometimes people just dislike them. If you only want people to blow smoke up your arse simply put in your topic "HAI This is my hot car if you do not wish to massage my small dicked ego do not comment". That being said, whoever said the net is not real life, bull****, the only difference is on here you will have people telling you something is ugly, outside you cant hear the laughter or listen to the conversations of people paying out your twin supercharged 1100cc VN Commodore with a VE bodykit running a trimatic gearbox with 13 inch rims.

This is my cousins car with his new wheels.Im jealous.
im waiting for someone to say they are jealous of my new ride. or FTL they might say its a piece of sh**![]()
thats stato look pretty good
well get him to start a thread on it id love to se more
what i dont understand about jealousy is why do people have rego plates like NVme or dntNV and the likes, they are always on old cars like VNs and VSs, why would i envy a car thats older than mine or that is a pos?
no-body should really envy anyone elses car. if they envied it they would get one the same.
unless you purely cant afford it. then you have something to be envious about. their wallet.
EN"VE" would be good for like a ve ss ,gts etc but there all takin by old cars im guessing
