So what is the deal with the new p's? you are on one for a year and then another for the next 2 is that right? and did some one say something about passenger restrictions? surley not???!!!
I dont drink these days. I am allergic to alcohol and drugs. I breakout in handcuffs!
The less people know about how sausages and laws are made, the better they'll sleep at night.
I got no restrictions or anything.. The red P's are the new stage 1 & green P's are stage 2 from the paperwork..
Cheers

Man so many people are confused about this. Put it this way. If you get a Green P Plate in the mail. You had better put it on your car.
TO MAKE THINGS CLEAR FOR EVERYONE
Victoria's new graduated licensing system is introducing new driver licensing rules. These new rules mean that a probationary driver will have to display either a red or green P plate.
If you obtained your probationary licence before 1 July 2008, you will have to change your P plate from red to green.
A green P plate driver has fewer restrictions such as how many passengers they can carry.
Attach your green P plates so they are clearly visible on your vehicle, and make sure you do not use them before 1 July 2008.
This really isn't that hard.
The new P plate restrictions are two tiered, with the first tier being restricted to almost walking alone and the second tier being a bit more open.
P platers who obtained their licences before 1 July are treated as being on the 2nd tier, therefore have to display green P plates.
So if you're a P plater now, you're going green. Simple.
i just copied it straight from here

About time other states came into line with NSW.
YES! I got mine too, this afternoon. Apparently some people have been getting blank letters, simply just green plates and a green piece of paper...
anyone know if these are coming to WA?
