Green P Plates!!!!!!!!!

Hey all just got this in a mail, first i read the invelope as "GOODBYE TO YOUR P PLATES" n i can admit shat me dacks hahahaha

Says on the paperwork

Anyone that got there P plates before 1 july 08 will need to display the GREEN Plates after 1st of july. No matter how long you've had your P's.

Oh no all those little girls who carefully swirled and cut their p's to look cool will have to move them, omg its like totally nasty!!
So what is the deal with the new p's? you are on one for a year and then another for the next 2 is that right? and did some one say something about passenger restrictions? surley not???!!!

I got no restrictions or anything.. The red P's are the new stage 1 & green P's are stage 2 from the paperwork..

TO MAKE THINGS CLEAR FOR EVERYONE

Victoria's new graduated licensing system is introducing new driver licensing rules. These new rules mean that a probationary driver will have to display either a red or green P plate.

If you obtained your probationary licence before 1 July 2008, you will have to change your P plate from red to green.

A green P plate driver has fewer restrictions such as how many passengers they can carry.

Attach your green P plates so they are clearly visible on your vehicle, and make sure you do not use them before 1 July 2008.

Is that just coming to Vic now is it? Been like that for a while in NSW.. Are they also making it that you have to display it outside of the car? Just another way to loose your license

i doubt it, considering the ones they have sent us are the type that go onto a window. having them on the outside is just stupid. nsw really has some stupid laws when it comes to driving
