All of these boys were brothers.....Police have described last night's incident in Ravenswood where four boys were killed in a car crash as 'absolutely tragic.'
The boys, aged 10, 11, 14 and 16, died after the stolen vehicle they were travelling in crashed into a pole on Pinjarra Road just after 10pm.
Three of the boys were killed instantly while a fourth died while being airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.
The fifth passenger, a 17-year-old boy, received only minor injuries.
Peel Superintendent Pryce Scanlan said Major Crash were conducting an investigation.
“Having juveniles that young out in a stolen car at that time of night is a major concern to us and that will form part of our investigation,” he said.
“I'm not going to pre-empt the findings of our investigators. Major Crash are currently investigating and I'll wait for their findings.
“It is absolutely tragic. When we lose a life on WA roads it's tragic, but even more so when it involves four young children."
Supt Scanlan said investigators would look at a variety of factors including weather, driver experience and whether drugs and alcohol played a part.![]()

hahaha
Perfect Justice.
Nothing tragic about future scumbags being killed.

If I'm not pulling Toyota's out of the Bush, I'm pulling 12's in the Sig :-)
Maybe they should not be stealing **** in the first place and they would not need to change their ways?
If they were my kids, well so be it, they stole someone elses property and paid for it.
As for breaking laws, I hardly call jumping over the speed limit, parking illegally the same as stealing a car and driving it on public roads ffs. These little ****ing idiots could of not only killed themselves but an innocent family also. Thank god they were killed before this could happen.

Guys some of these comments are a little harsh.
Yeah i think they are ****ing annoying kids who deserve a bit of a punishment, but they took a car joyriding... I don't think that deserves death.
I never stolen a car, or really broken the law at all (apart from lots of driving offenses), but i mean if they hadnt crashed what would have been the result of the night? A car was pinched, showed up a few days later with an empty tank. Bad, but not serious.
I think saying they got what they deserved is a bit harsh. I agree anyone who steals a car is a scumbag. the 17yo 16yo and maybe the 14yo possibly deserve to suffer the consequences of their actions. but the 10yo and 11yo are a bit young i think and maybe were pressured by the older boys.
any lose of young life is going to be tragic, however, i cant help but feel less sympathetic (sp?) for these kids. Sounds like these kids werent angles that just screwed up once, im sure they were misfits at school and constantly in strife.
RIP though hopefully round 2 is better for them
no longer a hoon by association - the commodore is gone
I can understand both sides, but I think the kids just being injured could teach them a lesson. Kids that age deserve a 2nd chance at life surely.
Then again it does make you wonder, brothers that age out stealing cars, wonder how they were raised? I have a feeling the parents would be feeling like ****.
You wouldn't be saying that if it really happened to your children if you loose a child no matter how they were killed it is the greatest loss you could imagine...
And if thats how you really are i hope to god you never have or are never responsible for any children ever
Thats a disgrace
I WISH MY GRASS WAS EMO SO IT WOULD CUT ITSELF
Not serious? Who's to say that if they didn't crash themselves that they wouldn't have killed someone around the next corner? Some may argue that what if they were your own kids? Well what if they were your own kids and they killed someone in the act? I think we're becoming a little too tolerant of things like this.
I've had a car stolen 6 six years ago and I can tell you it became quite serious. Car was recovered later that afternoon with shredded tyres, stereo ripped out, part of the dash ripped out, CD's gone and a $300 leather jacket. Insurance company were relucatant to repair the damages even though I had full comprehensive. Where I worked there was no public transport and I had to rent a crappy old bomb for $200 a week. It was seven weeks before I got the car back repaired plus I had to pay the excess. Because of that one 'not so serious' incident I ended up in quite a bit of debt, Insurance premium went up and not to mention the stress it caused. If anyone wants to know what I think of car thieves just read my signature.
Car theives should be treated just like horse theives and cattle rustlers in the days of the wild west... Hang them!

Whats a disgrace, the fact that criminals were killed or the fact that if my children were killed because they were scumbags then really it wouldn't bother me? I can quite confidently say I doubt it would bother me, just as it didn't bother me when a close friend killed himself after ripping me and many of his other good mates off to the tune of 50+k. Thieves are one of the lowest forms of life in this world. If peadophiles, druggoes and thieves all finished up like this, the world would be a much better place.

If they were your children is what my prob is...
Im not condoning what they done in any way but think of what there parents are feeling at this point.
1 there children are dead
2 there children were thieves
Thieves are scum yes but no 1 deserves to die
I WISH MY GRASS WAS EMO SO IT WOULD CUT ITSELF
Yes, there is a slight chance they could have killed someone else... But thats the same with any driver on the road. Yeah look i what they did was really wrong and i ****ing hate it, but death? I mean we have serial rapists/murder's/serial con artists kept alive with tax payer dollars (jail). Shouldnt they be the first to go?
Yeah it sucks if your car gets trashed... I have vandalism MORE than the next person, but often the car just gets dumped when it runs out of petrol. We had a car stolen a while ago, it was recovered in a factory car park LOCKED and in the same condition (just no fuel).
I guess the point is, couple of young kids do something stupid. Yes, they should be punished and are a drag on society. However, death is probably a bit extreme. Whos to say the 11 year old wasnt going to grow up to cure cancer? I mean honestly, joy riding isnt all that bad.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion... Personally i would love to see an outbreak of a virus which kills EVERY human on this planet. We (Humans) are the vermin on this planet. We pollute, destroy and kill for our own pleasure. No other creature kills for the fun of it....
I don't believe for a second that you wouldn't care if it were your kids that were killed, regardless of the circumstances.Whats a disgrace, the fact that criminals were killed or the fact that if my children were killed because they were scumbags then really it wouldn't bother me? I can quite confidently say I doubt it would bother me, just as it didn't bother me when a close friend killed himself after ripping me and many of his other good mates off to the tune of 50+k. I would be devistated if one of my boys was killed, whether he was doing the right thing or the wrong thing. I certainly wouldn't protect them from the law for such a crime but to lose them, i just couldn't begin to think how i would handle that.
Trust me, when you hold your kids for the first time, you will know what i'm talking about.
I feel sorry for the parents. Imagine what they must be going through!
No, the kids didn't deserve it. I know I made my fair share of mistakes when I was younger. The turning point for me was when I was involved in some quite serious vandalism. Instead of calling the police, the owner of the house gave us a second chance and we spent the next week or so cleaning and fixing it.
Everyone deserves a second chance

Yep. Kill them too.
You must have been lucky and got a very polite and respectful car theif. Maybe they just needed to borrow your car to get to work.
They didn't do something stupid. They commited a criminal act, and if joyriding isn't that bad then how about we all go out and 'borrow' everyone else's car and take it paddock bashing. I'm sure you won't mind if I borrow yours.
So you would be happy to take your own life or would you wait until everyone else has gone? Gotta start somewhereSociety really has become far too tolerant of what is nothing more than criminal behaviour.

the parents will just have more kids for baby bonusesand start fresh
its a shame kids have to die to get the point across
more from parents and police to curb the crimes is needed
once you have ya car stolen and thrahed about youll feel the same and hope the pricks kill them selves in it
I'd be inclined to blame the parents on this one. Not knowing the circumstances of the situation, you can only assume these boys have had a pretty rotten life/upbringing to of resorted to stealing cars. Where did they get their morals from I wonder? The older boys should know better, the younger boys would of been going along with the crowd.
If they had been caught, they would of got a slap on the wrist and inevitably done it again... and again until someone innocent did get hurt.
I hate to break it to you, but lives aren't quite that easily replaced.
Things like this hit close to home for me, because back when I was 15/16 I was heading down this road, and could easily have ended up like these kids.
I got my second chance, and like to think I have made the most of it.
These kids don't get that chance
