As a lot do, especially after having a car impounded. Last one I did, his mates turned up to pick him up and were taking photos of his car being put onto the tow truck. As if it was a proud moment.

I once had a young P plater ask me about what his chances would be joining the police force with his traffic history. While telling me that he'd been impounded twice his mates laughed along as if he was some kind of hero.
