As we have all heard there is a debate happening at the moment involving naked pictures of children in art exhibitions and art magazines.
one half says porn , the other half (artists....ahem...) say it is "art"

heres my veiw

its porn. Just because someone who has taken the photo refers to themselves as an artist they think it is all ok. So if this be correct , i could go get a 9 yr old girl to pose naked for me , make a photo and call it art and myself an artist.All good...NOT.

All those people caught with the photos on there computers can get away with it if they call it art???????

I see it as nothing to be honest. For me if you see it as porn you are scared of it and have things to hide. Does it arouse you natas? If not it certainly is not porn. Perhaps learn the definition of porn.

Society today has been told to hate nudity, that it is forbidden. **** me, I was swimming at the beach naked until I was 11/12 along with many family and friends. Hell if i get the chance now I go skinny dipping. People are so ashamed of nudity now that you are led to beleive it is wrong. Being naked is not being a slut, dressing like paris hilton is being a slut and that is wrong. Nudity is great, more people should be naked.

Again, all I will say is if you see anything liek these photos going around as porn, you seriously have issues and it is best to seek help before you harm an innocent child with sexual deviousy.

Edit: Lmao by your meaning, anyone being photographed naked or painted naked is part of the porn industry. hahaha, your funny whether you are aged 9 or 99 it is not porn.

Cheers, I call it art. The only people I see as sick and perverted are the people with narrow minds like yourself. Granted it shouldnt make a front cover of a magazine, but these pics were in a gallery for 4 weeks and not ONE WORD was spoken of them until channel 9 and gang decide to make it out to be soooo bad.

This should not even be up for discussion the photos should have been destroyed and definitely the magazine should be cut off of all funding immediately!! I don't see it as porn! but being a father I wouldn't call it art either and I definately wouldn't hang it in a gallery for all the weirdo's to go in and oggle over then have fun in their pants.

I don't even allow pics of my kids to be used for promotional purposes, and yes we have been asked before.

I don't have a problem with tasteful photos being taken, but not for public display.

It had photos of the kids/babies when they were much younger than 6, in the bath, without tops on etc, depicting happy times before they went missing or were murdered or whatever... By the media's (and those warped individuals who think naked=sex/porn) definition, the story that followed was more pornographic than the Olympia story.
