Israel-Lebanon Prisoner swap
Does anyone else think that it's a stupid move on behalf of the Israelis? I mean you swap 5 Lebanese prisoners, of which one was imprisoned for killing a policeman, a civilian and his 4 year old daughter, for the bodies of two dead Israeli soliders.........the Lebanese offered no proof of life before the exchange.

That whole war is stupid. Lebanon SHOULD be handed back Israel. It was wrong of the UN Nations to hand it over like they did. While we are at it, perhaps Turkey should be forced to hand back Cyprus as well, they should also admit to the genocide of armenians...isnt this world wonderful...pfft.

Lebanon claim to declare the day as a National Holiday.
World leaders see it as a positive step. I somehow dont agree with that theory.

terrorists are a dime a dozen. you don't need a degree to strap a bomb to your waist. handing these guys back won't change much. i imagine the israeli soldiers' families wanted closure and that was judged more important.
i think israel's mining of southern lebanon with cluster bombs ("who'd'a thunk they wouldn't all explode on impact and turn into mines, ripping the limbs off 5 year old girls?") was a level of cruelty and stupidity above this issue.
there is just a lot of all-round evil in that supposed holy part of the world.
