If you want something that is strong and should never rust again (but dosn't look like car paint) use POR 15. You can paint it on with a brush and it self levels. just google it and you will find a website.

Hammertone (insert your fav color here). Super tough and doesn't scratch easy.

Hammertone is okay, but 90% of trailers released are sprayed with it and they all end up bloody rusting, go for a good zinc rich primer if your going down the hammertone road, hammertone isn't all that tough either, well it varies between brands but yeah.

For the record I manufacture industrial paints which includes hammertone, primers floor coatings, fridge paints we even made the black thermosil paint for holden last year, well some of it.

we are currently doing a mates trailer at work and we are using a zinc rich acrylic primer with a polyurethane top coat (black)
