someone who is good with a welder lol. Build a massive box chassis, work each panel individually then bang it all together with a 350 out the bonnet good strip car lol. I can see someone with a spare $150k and a **** load of patients and passion buying it

MMM...I was thinking about picking up a new project when I stumbled on this....
I was in so much shock, Laughing my butt off and just had to share it....

I was hoping nobody was going to say they could fix it up.....

The rear end could be used for a BBQ, but hey it's a HK...you can get a running car with 2 weeks reg for $100 and the rear would come with tail lights...lol...

as crazy as this guy is made out to be ...If that was me an i didnt have the room for it ... id probaby try an sell it too. Some guy with too much money would pay i reakon ... worth a try. Sad to see the prices of these things become untouchable really.

Bloody funny how these old shells are always "genuine Bathurst Monaros". How the hell would you know from the id tag alone? I can't recall how many Munros ran at Bathurst in '68, probably around 20 or so, but there must have been hundreds of the things advertised over the years.

At least, from the id tag number given for the chassis, it WAS a V8.

And to think I sold my complete, registered HT 350 GTS in 1980 for $5k.....
