Default Issues with the Feline species

I've been noticing cat paw prints on my bonnet, not sure which cat, but it seems to like sleeping on my bonnet.

I gave my car a thorough wash yesterday and I thought maybe it was happening when I park the car behind the rollerdoor. So I parket it infront of the roller door but still undershade. I get up this morning to inspect my car, sure enough dirty paw prints and fur all over my bonnet.

    Anyone else had this problem?

I believe the best way to combat this would be to put a cover on my car except it would suck because I would need to take off the cover when I leave for work and put the cover back on at night.

I might just have to take it like a man and just give the bonnet a wipe every few days.

Really its annoying when you spend time cleaning your car and getting it nice when a stray cat decides to make your car home...Am I being a grumpy old fart...

    Buy a pellet gun........

I ****ing hate cats. But fair enough, not everybody does, i'd say just get a cover mate, not a great deal you can do.

This problem would be solved so easily if people kept their cats indoors.
Car theives should be treated just like horse theives and cattle rustlers in the days of the wild west... Hang them!

ive had the same problem , solution , slug gun , they are only a feral domestic that should have never been introduced in the first place , if the owner of the cat gave a rats arse they would keep it inside.

ive been told that (in ACT anyway) you can legally (and humanely) trap any animal that is considered a nuisance and take it to the RSPCA.

That applies for NSW and for any animal.

like troy said, check your local council, as they can set a trap up for you.

Glue a heap of thumbtacks onto a sheet and throw it over your bonnet when you leave it out. Or let your dog lie on your bonnet over night.

Cats like to sleep on the bonnet cause its warm on there, you can have a spray bottle handy and give it a quick spray with, I think its called "cat off?" you can get it from the pound add it to water and cats hate the smell let alone the fact that its wet, have no idea what the stuff may or may not do the the paint work though. I doubt very much as i am fairly sure it is all herbal stuff.
I dont drink these days. I am allergic to alcohol and drugs. I breakout in handcuffs!

The less people know about how sausages and laws are made, the better they'll sleep at night.

My staffy takes care of cats. Already taken 2 cats to the neighbours a little worse for wear. Ive got a problem with possums and my car, but its always fun sitting on the verandah waiting for them with a bb gun in hand.
