Recieved the call i've been waiting for today..
I'll be starting my new Apprenticeship tomorrow in 'Specialised Auto Mechanic'
Can't wait and glad to have gotton rid of the old mob (Electrical fitting)
for anyone looking for an apprenticeship, the blokes i went through are called 'Victoria Apprenticeships' their apart of Gippsland Group Training and i found them to be pretty sweet
Getting a free toolbox aswell, full of J.B.S gear and some Sidchrome and Kincrome stuff too., has anyone heard of J.B.S tools? and are they any good? they state they have a lifetime warranty so i'm guessing they should be fine..
The all new TATA Nano, India's $3000 low cost car, Runs on Chicken Vindaloo!
congrats mate
Congrats.
What the hell is a "Specialised Auto Mechanic" though?
And JBS stuff is quite good, most tools these days are quite good. I prefer Kincrome myself, but each to their own (There really isn't much difference anyway). Most tools these days offer Lifetime Warrenty, so keep that in mind when you go out and buy stuff. Buy a big rollcab too, it pays to keep expansion in mind when buying tools and tool boxes.
Congrats & Good Luck.
Craig gets all his gear through Snap On.... I hate it how they visit his work weekly grrr lol
Probably better than sidchrome really gone downhill in qaulity since stanely took over. All our apprentices at work get a sidchrome tool kit including myself. Rachets **** themselves all the time and because you using for work purposes they refuse to replace it. JBS are pretty good there's some tools floating around at work and they seem good and have lasted a long time.
