just installed a turbo timer onto a nissan terrano and put it all back together then realised i cant turn the ignition all the way to lock and take the key out with the turbo timer on untill the engine stops running.there must be some solinoid in the ignition barrel that wont let the key come out.anyone had this problem before any way to stop it without pulling the offending item out of the ignition barrell like i plan too do.its a simple 3 wire timer 1 continuos power 1 to ignition feed to engine 1 to earth all wired in at the ignition.works fine just cant get the key out without waiting for it too stop which makes the timer pointless at the moment untill i strip the barrel.
