Bugger, I had one of those a while back, except it was a crewman that got too friendly in the rear. Insurance repaired rather than replaced though

Was in getting new exhaust fitted today, some P Plater come in, no idea WTF he had done but he reversed over something had pushed the exhaust back, and kinked it closed, this force pushed back the rest of the exhaust bent headers everything. He was trying to say he was barely moving.

lol, the chev badge is there because i took the holden one off not knowing there would be 2 holes in the tailgate. Didnt want to put the holden one back on and CBF filling them and painting it so i just put that chev badge on cus it was just laying around

I have 4 in my tailgate. One big ****off one in the centre from a tree that was cut down to half way up my tailgate and 3 on the side of the tailgate from when dad reversed the tinnie into it. Cant believe he didn't see it

Its only metal

I had a really good look at it when i came home. It would be easier to get a whole new one and then put the frame in. If i can get a genuine maloo one then sweet but realistically a normal one with a frame will probably happen. I remember seeing someone on ebay that did the number plate insert but I cant find them.

Ill buy a new one and get that sorted and on the car then ill fix this one up and sell it

It is. You just have to tick the 'dad's dont look where they are reversing' box and presto

A mate's XF ute has a big ass dent in the tailgate coz for some stupid reason the towball sits high and when the tailgate folds down the tailgate sits on it...apparently it's a common thing lol

pretty much every XF ute and similar era models has that problem! i notice the ones that dont have a big towball dent!
