Question A question about brakes for my charger please!

Im looking @ buying a brake upgrade kit for my valiant charger for $1350 the kit includes:
Pair 300 mm Disc Rotors (drilled and slotted) and Twin PBR Piston Calipers
Set Semi – Metallic Brake Pads
    Caliper mount kit
Pair Conversion hubs made from K1045 Billet steel fitted with
    bearing cups and wheel studs
Pair custom Brake Hoses and copper washers
    Full Fitting Instructions

But i was wondering if i could use a set of VT calipers and save some cash? Im pretty sure The VT items are also Twin pistons aswell??
Would there be much of a difference in performance between the PBR items and the VT seeing as there both twin piston?
Sorry for all the questions ect im just trying to save a few dollars if possible,
I would appreciate any info/advice please, cheers!

PBR make(made) the VT Twin Piston Calipers originally.

    1. You proabably can... however mounting them will be your biggest issue here.. Wil they even fit?

    2. As for weigth, how heavy are the new ones and will you appreciate the newer, lighter setup?

    3. Operation wise, you should be fine... there wouldnt be any difference in terms of breaking.

Pads would be diff id say... lines as well... Would need some more info on the kit to give ya a 100% but it might be easier to just fork out the cash in this case mate.

Cheers Azk for the info mate
Heres a pic of the set up!
Theres 2 kits in the first pic, the one im looking @ is the one on the right (slotted drilled & red caliper)
also see in the lower pics the conversion hub, Also the caliper bracket to suit new calipers, I am pretty sure i could sort out the caliper bracket but the hub conversion would have to be supplied by eithr DBA or someone else, I think i might just go with the kit and be done with it!!

i dunno stacks about brakes, but if you're switching to twin pistons, you might need a bigger bore master cyl.

haha the original setup did not even have a booster, was all manual lol so i will be possibly useing a VT booster and the manual setup if that makes sense
