- Full of yobbo aussies
- The indonesians follow you up the street begging like there is no tomorrow. If you're stupid enough to give them a coin to get them off your back, they'll remember your face and annoy you twice as bad the next day you see them.
- It's filthy
- Beaches aren't all that great
The whole time I was there, I was wishing I was back in Australia and enjoying our summer at the beach instead.
Im off to N.Z. @ the end of next week for the third time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
go see the sights at corio village!!
Im sorry but have you actually been to daydream? The most backward place I have ever been to, so primitive and expensive it isn’t funny. Sure the actual geographical location is fantastic but everything else is 1/5...
My pick would be cruising, which looks like the way your going to go. I've been on one and plan to go on another at the end of the year. Best holiday I’ve ever been on. Totally different atmosphere then going away as a couple or with family but you still have the freedom to do what ever you want when you want, except when the boat leaves lol. They will eave you behind, happened on our cruise.
One word of advice, make it longer then 10 days, DO NOT visit Noumea, French ****hole, hated it, port villa is alright, good for shopping but very basic. P&O have an agreement with New Caledonia that the ships must visit port villa so there’s no getting out of it. Pretty sure it involves supplies thou.
It great waking up in the morning at a new island. Also good that everything’s planned, there no last minute rush to get things done which makes the whole experience really relaxing. One the best things if you’re into your **** is walking down the hallways SMASHED and bumping into the one wall then the other when the boat goes over a wave, fun lol. Beer and everything is pretty cheap as well.
The food is fantastic, don’t tell mum but it was better then the meals at home lol
Make sure you at least get an outside cabin, inside ones are dark and boring. The best of course would be a stateroom.
What ever P&O quote you, tell em to sharpen their pencil and they def will, especially if this is your first cruise.
