The waiting game...

Hey everyone!

I'm Luke and I live in Sydney.

For the last year I have been driving around in a fairly clean hyundai excel which was giving to me as a birthday present.

But I've also been saving as much as I could in this time for a commodore!

I finally saved enough money to start looking for a new car!

I've loved VL commodores for many years. I just loved everything about them! So I set out to find a nice manual N/A vl. I didnt really find anything that tickled my fancy so I started looking at other models.

I found a pretty trick Vs S pack manual and thought about having a look at it.

The next day at round 3 in the afternoon, my old man gave me a call and told me to race down to Mcgrath Holden. I was there in a flash and I was shown a very clean Vz Calais with only 30,000km's on the clock!

I fell in love with the full black leather interior and silver paint and knew this was the car for me!

The only thing was, it was an auto!

I took it for a test drive and realised that i really didnt need a manual so i was no longer fussed about that!

I was wrapped!

BUT

Price.

We managed to get it down to $24000 and i was pretty happy with this so I bought it on the spot!!!

NOW i need to wait until Thursday to pick it up!

Im really excited about getting this car but was wondering if there's anything I should know before I actually start driving it??

I test drove a vz calais laste last year, leather, was very ncie to drive.... i test drove it for giggles, lol. but my old house mate was keen for it.

The 190's go pretty nicely man. I wanted to go for a Calais but it was just out of my price range, so I settled for an SV6.
