Default when did they get this sneaky?

i was driving to work one morning and noticed something on a nature strip which grabbed my attention, it was a fkn speeed camera mounted on a tripod.

on my way home it was on the other side so i did a u turn and took a pic.

over the next few days it was the same with a break in between but after that there was 2 cameras facing each way at 7am-??? and maybe still there at 4.30-??

revenue raising?? surely this cant be the case cos the govornment says its about reducing accidents

if you're bored, go out and stand in front of the camera for a while.

dont moon, then they got you for indecent exposure,

go set up a big tarp or something in front of it then leave

What about all the ones in wheely bins that you don't see?

What's to complain about? They have zero affect on you if you aren't speeding.

Tell that to the people who have to go to court and waste their time because the cameras give a false reading. Brother in law was going to lose his licence, 105 in a 60 zone...not sure how a hyundai excel accelerates this quickly considering the camera was 50 metres from their street he turns out of. Anyway, they have both their cars hooked up with the same system I use(VDO tracking system, records crash data everything). Had to provide all downloads, all calibration details etc. The fact is, these cameras do get people when they arent speeding. My GPS system has saved me twice from having to pay fines for 20+ over in 50 zones(camera malfunction). Would hate to think how many suckers CANNOT defend false fines.

To the OP, organise a heap of guys to stand and wait for a taxi around it. Watch how quick they come pack it up.

What about the ones in trees.

When technology gets better they will be on every poll in the state.

What could be better, you get pulled over for doing a skid, the police offer a free adjustment, a couple of good whacks later, the reception is far clearer then ever before.

i knew a guy that got done like that in his van, some rediculous speed, so he had his van taken by a professional driver and it couldnt even reach the speed the speed camera accused him of doing

The other mornin I grabbed some brekky and was eating it down the boatramp. As I pulled in there, a cop pulled up across the road and pulled out his radar gun. I ate 2 cheese and bacon rolls, and by the time I got through them (5 mins max) the cop had already pulled over 3 cars and had written out a fine for all 3. He only spent seconds pointing the radar gun....it was like a good days fishin'...as soon as the line went back in the water he got another one haha.

the reason they are there is probably because there are idiots like yourself that dont understand basic vehicle dynamics and/or have no respect for public property and the law. If you dont like it, walk or find another country to live in.

It's not a multanova. It looks more like something set up for research or statistical data.

probably for the "Placebo effect". Government should just put up hundreds of fake cameras and lie about revenue, watch people slow down. Just liek they should pay civilians to drive around in marked cars on highways etc.
