Is there a JustCaravans.com.au??? Personally, I wouldn't buy it. With all the extra fuel costs when towing a caravan, it's got to be more economical to just stay in motels.

While motels are good, they are socially uninviting, I love going camping and meeting up with other campers from all over the world.

Too many people now stay isolated by staying in motels, it's great sitting around a fire having a few quiet drinks with a fe wpeople from all over the world. Morning comes and you may never see them again, yet you will probably remember nights like that for a lifetime. Best thing is, the next night you do it all over again.

Seeing less and less caravaners now, used to love going somewhere as a kid in a van, showing off how fancy it was to all your new summer friends lol.

To the OP, I wouldnt waste your money buying it, buy one ready to go, less headaches.

Haha you all need to harden up and buy a swag Camping is fun, but not in a caravan, to much hassle to tow, plus cost more and isnt the safest way to travel. Plus with a swag and a cooker (or cook on the fire) etc you can get to more remote places then you can with a van.

Though Van's are still fun... I lost something irreplaceable in a caravan haha.

PS: Does anyone realise who the OP is??

Interestingly Jayco have just built a massive new factory just around the corner from work. It is **massive** and they seem to be selling more caravans than they can build. Lately I have been doing the frames for more and more on-site units for caravan parks too. Not sure what this all means overall...
