I thought it would be fun to create my own political party, plus I was bored

I have come up with the following policies based on my own political party. Feel free to add to them. Anything worthwhile will be added, any crap posted will be deleted. This is not a democracy thread, it is a minuxography thread.

Policies

• Income tax Abolished
• GST Raised to 16.8% as per a study performed by KPMG
• Taxes on Taxes removed
• Stamp Duties removed
• Welfare minimised and converted to voucher use only requiring an Identity check and signature on use of voucher
• Welfare removed after phase out(see above and below)
• People earning under 50k a year or not working to be made sexually inactive, failure to find work after 3 months will require vasectomy for males and tube tying for women. This will prevent further breeding of deadbeats, thus reducing needs for welfare.
• Any person on welfare in this 3 months will be required to pay back in full all handouts at the time when gainfully employed.
• Compulsory Super payments by employers to be matched by compulsory payments by employee's to reduce need for age pension
• A National Registration Scheme based on a cascading format on age of car, starting at $1500 per year for up to 2 year old cars, down to $5000 for cars over 10 years old.
• Stricter national Licencing Guidelines, in where drivers must pass practical tests in simulated situations over a course of 6-12 months, with drivers to cover costs.
• Governments to be elected in terms of 5 years.
• Useless Public servants axed, reduce government workforce to minimal required.
• Public census votes on new legislation
• Homeless people shipped off to tasmania, Tasmania to become a place where criminals are hung, no longer an official state of AU.
• Immigration slashed, to enter the country you must provide a valid business plan or professional certification to enter. If granted immigration status referring to your homeland as "the great country" will see you deported.
• National training Scheme - Schools upgraded to allow apprenticeships to be completed through years 10,11,12(these members will be on a set wage for every industry). Work experience of 4 week allotments 4 times per year each year. Bonuses to companies who gainfully employ finishing students for a minimum of 2 years.
• Religion banned - All forms(except in tasmania)
• Only one national flag, no others will be recognised. This will mean an incorporation of the aboriginal and current Australian Flag.
• Commonwealth dumped, republic in. No public vote/referendum.
• Schools will be allowed to discipline children as they see fit, legislation to follow.

Staff will be elected by public vote, when voting you will elect a President, a Vice President, Treasury(made up of 5 members), General ministers(12 members) to create and investigate policies. No government member will be allowed ANY inquiries. No other staff required due to the Public deciding what legislation will pass. Legislation votes will be held every 6 months.

A suggestion Minux:

perhaps there should be discression made between "people unemployed for three months" and "people on welfare for three months".

If you've saved up enough money to earn yourself a 12mth break from work, that doesn't qualify a person as a deadbeat in my book

Also, just a phrasing matter, instead of "Compulsory Super payments by employers to be matched by compulsory payments by employee's" you could simply implement a 10% flat-rate tax on all income over $5000 per year, which is placed straight into your super fund.

parents/care givers guardians have the right to first dibs punishment to be handed to people who inflict pain onto a loved one. will range in the severity of offence commited. 30 minutes shall be given to those family members, with no questions asked at the end. after punishment handed out, they are shiped off to tasmania.

local/state and federal laws will be simplyfied into one simple australian rule, double standards shall be removed.
child sex offenders/ rapists shall have their genitals removed or shown shut the minute they have been found guilty beyond any question. if alive, they are sent to tasmania afterwards

Our government will not recgnise strikes. You strike, your off to tasmania. If a worker feels the need to strike it will go through a workforce delegate who will decide if the issue is worth taking to the General ministers. A workforce delegate is a nominated member in each state of an industry, these delegates require criminal free records and must have worked in the sitting industry for a minimum of 10 years.

Welfare will not exist in time, so drug tests will not be required, however, you make a great point.

Older drivers will not be an issue, legislation will be passed in where a driver must undertake a practical exam on a closed circuit testing reflexes, understanding of road laws etc every 2 years or after an accident(at fault driver) at the drivers cost.

Sounds good, would come under a deportation to Tasmania legislation.

The idea of the Minux government is to allow a merge to a full national recognition on everything. This will include laws. Sex offenders of any type will just be terminated on a guilty finding. No need to do anything, it is simply a waste of effort on the government resources

I dont think school needs to be 6 days a week 8 hours a day. There is only so much one can take in. However, I think 6 days a week and 6 hours a day could work.

Day care will be charged and subsidised on a cascading level based on means testing. An example:

Rate Example
50k earner pays $10 per day, each $10,000 earnt increases child care costs by $2.

Day care will be based on both parents incomes.

Means Tested Example
50k earner, owns home, indisposable income after testing is 72% per week.

150k Earner, paying mortgage, children in private school, indisposable income of 93%

The above would be means tested in where a person with a lower indisposable income would be subject to a lower rebate. This is to keep fairness and equity across the board.

where does the minux party stand on education and the falling standard in health care?

Education is a priority, introducing formal training for real qualifications while in school is a major step forward. This will allow people to complete school while being formally trained. It will also allow a year 12 pass so that if the time comes in where the student would like to go to Universiy, this won't be seen as an issue. It will also be made that any child leaving school before year 11 must provide proof of income and or training before being allowed to finish. A national audit also of all schools will be conducted in where teachers will be monitored and removed if skills are lacking.
Teachers will be on a national education standard where a child in perth is taught the same syllabus as a child in Sydney. More emphasis on bringing government schools up to speed in technology and resources will also be a priority.

The health system will be propped up by banning all foreign aid until such time that we can spend and look after our own peoples health as we spend on oversea's issues. With the billions of dollars being blocked outbound, it will allow us to provide state of the art hospital and care centres. We will also reduce the cost on University courses(for Australians) to allow Australians a better chance of getting into these courses, international students will only be used as "fill up's" if a course cannot be run at full capacity.

Private hospitals will also receive funding under a scheme in where to keep waiting times down a private hospital takes on Public members. This will be rebated to the private hosital including a 15% bonus.

Id say change that because my dad owns his house so he doesn't have to work much anymore hence learning less than 50k a year. Other than that youve got my vote lol.

Leave without pay, annual leave etc will all be allowed, there is no "mooching" from the government.

Introducing a flat tax will not happen, all income taxes will be removed. Effectivley an employer contributing 9% will be matched by the employee, so the tax is in effect there, but not called a tax.

I should also add, paid maternity leave will come in under the ANMG. A woman is able to have 20% of their pay withheld by an employer and placed into a national maternity scheme. After 5 years, 12 months leave will be allowed. Married couples (male + female only) will also be allowed to add top up's throughout this period. Should a couple wish to start as family earlier, an application can be made for government funding to cover the gap for the 12 months. However, after 12 months, if a woman does not return to work, the husbands pay will be deducted accordignly.

Same sex couples WILL NOT be recognised under this scheme, nor will they be allowed adoption or IVF or surrogacy.
