I thought it would be fun to create my own political party, plus I was bored

I have come up with the following policies based on my own political party. Feel free to add to them. Anything worthwhile will be added, any crap posted will be deleted. This is not a democracy thread, it is a minuxography thread.

Policies

• Income tax Abolished
• GST Raised to 16.8% as per a study performed by KPMG
• Taxes on Taxes removed
• Stamp Duties removed
• Welfare minimised and converted to voucher use only requiring an Identity check and signature on use of voucher
• Welfare removed after phase out(see above and below)
• People earning under 50k a year or not working to be made sexually inactive, failure to find work after 3 months will require vasectomy for males and tube tying for women. This will prevent further breeding of deadbeats, thus reducing needs for welfare.
• Any person on welfare in this 3 months will be required to pay back in full all handouts at the time when gainfully employed.
• Compulsory Super payments by employers to be matched by compulsory payments by employee's to reduce need for age pension
• A National Registration Scheme based on a cascading format on age of car, starting at $1500 per year for up to 2 year old cars, down to $5000 for cars over 10 years old.
• Stricter national Licencing Guidelines, in where drivers must pass practical tests in simulated situations over a course of 6-12 months, with drivers to cover costs.
• Governments to be elected in terms of 5 years.
• Useless Public servants axed, reduce government workforce to minimal required.
• Public census votes on new legislation
• Homeless people shipped off to tasmania, Tasmania to become a place where criminals are hung, no longer an official state of AU.
• Immigration slashed, to enter the country you must provide a valid business plan or professional certification to enter. If granted immigration status referring to your homeland as "the great country" will see you deported.
• National training Scheme - Schools upgraded to allow apprenticeships to be completed through years 10,11,12(these members will be on a set wage for every industry). Work experience of 4 week allotments 4 times per year each year. Bonuses to companies who gainfully employ finishing students for a minimum of 2 years.
• Religion banned - All forms(except in tasmania)
• Only one national flag, no others will be recognised. This will mean an incorporation of the aboriginal and current Australian Flag.
• Commonwealth dumped, republic in. No public vote/referendum.
• Schools will be allowed to discipline children as they see fit, legislation to follow.

Staff will be elected by public vote, when voting you will elect a President, a Vice President, Treasury(made up of 5 members), General ministers(12 members) to create and investigate policies. No government member will be allowed ANY inquiries. No other staff required due to the Public deciding what legislation will pass. Legislation votes will be held every 6 months.

A suggestion Minux:

perhaps there should be discression made between "people unemployed for three months" and "people on welfare for three months".

If you've saved up enough money to earn yourself a 12mth break from work, that doesn't qualify a person as a deadbeat in my book

Also, just a phrasing matter, instead of "Compulsory Super payments by employers to be matched by compulsory payments by employee's" you could simply implement a 10% flat-rate tax on all income over $5000 per year, which is placed straight into your super fund.

- right to strike at anytime brought back
- trivial minor offences no longer go to court, the cops can simply send an idiot to jail for short terms
- welfare recipient will be drug tested, just like the people who had to work for their money did
- anyone who sees an old couple driving the wrong way slowly round a roundabout has the right to confiscate their keys.

capital punshment.
parents/care givers guardians have the right to first dibs punishment to be handed to people who inflict pain onto a loved one. will range in the severity of offence commited. 30 minutes shall be given to those family members, with no questions asked at the end. after punishment handed out, they are shiped off to tasmania.

local/state and federal laws will be simplyfied into one simple australian rule, double standards shall be removed.
child sex offenders/ rapists shall have their genitals removed or shown shut the minute they have been found guilty beyond any question. if alive, they are sent to tasmania afterwards

schools
all childen should attend school 6 says a week with hours to be extended from 6 to 8 hour's a day. with more empasis placed on reading, english studys, maths, and subjects that will actualy be of use. so poetry can go bye bye.

day care should be provided at a subsidised rate to those familys who choose to return to the work force.
payed maternity leave shall be extended to those who choose to have it, can be done either threw super sacrifice or a banking system of money.
all forign aid should be withdrawn, look after home affairs first
